Iphone

The difference between the iPhone x and 11

iPhone is a class of devices or a proper name?

difference, iphone

If we approach the question literally, then there are no differences between these two concepts: one includes the other.

iPhone is the russified name of the trademark for the line of iPhone smartphones produced by Apple since 2007.

However, today it is no longer just a brand, but something like a subculture, or even a cult with its admirers, idols and, of course, haters.

The term “smartphone” itself has a much longer history. It appeared in 2000 when Ericsson released the R380s phone model.

It can be considered a prototype of modern devices only to a certain extent, since, although it had a touchscreen display, it did not allow the installation of third-party applications due to the closed Symbian OS 5.1 operating system.

Approximately from this moment, the rivalry of this class of mobile devices with the so-called communicators begins, which eventually led to their merger.

And today, by a smartphone, we mean a mobile phone with a touchscreen display and the functionality of a computer.

What is the difference between an iPhone and a smartphone and is there any?

For fans of the mobile world, the difference between the iPhone and the smartphone is obvious and does not need clarification. But for those who treat their gadget as a consumer, everything is not so simple.

In order not to look like a Neanderthal from Khatsapetovka in the eyes of the beau monde, you need to know the difference like the back of your hand. But jokes are jokes, but still?

So are there any differences?

In reality, there are, and very significant ones. But they concern, oddly enough, not “hardware”, but the operating system used in the gadget. To date, there are only three “live” operating systems left:

  • Android by Google;
  • iOS installed on Apple devices;
  • Windows Mobile, which is the mobile version of the desktop Windows.

Everything else goes under the category of exoticism and atavisms. So: the main difference between the iPhone and the smartphone is the manufacturer’s marketing policy, which significantly limits the user’s freedom of action.

Oh, of course, everything is done solely for his good! But from the point of view of the owner of the gadget, it looks like the most dystopia: the purchased iPhone must be registered, direct access to content is limited, to the point that “illegal” files can be deleted from the built-in memory without the user’s knowledge.

In addition, in the mobile crowd, information is constantly being circulated that the iPhone is spying on its owner, and not without reason. But again. all this is done with good intentions: what if the phone is stolen??

Fans of green no, not a snake at all, but a droid is much simpler in this regard. their operating system is much more democratic and transparent than good.

The user has freedom of maneuver, but, as always in such cases, he pays for it with comfort. The picture is the same as in the epic confrontation between desktop Windows and Linux. By the way, Android was created on the basis of the latter.

What is the difference between Apple iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro. device comparison

Battery

The battery in the 12 Pro is 2815 mAh, while the battery in the 11 Pro is 3046 mAh. The difference is minimal, but the official specifications indicate that the 12 Pro plays video up to 17 hours (an hour less). In real life, the operating time will be plus or minus comparable, this is one day under load. For those who use the device little, it will be a couple of days. On average, the screen lasts from 4 to 5 hours in mixed mode and with backlight at 60%.

Wireless charging up to 7.5W is available on both models, but MagSafe is also available on the 12 Pro. The back panel has a built-in magnet to which you can attach a MagSafe charger.

In theory, new charging can provide up to 15 W, in practice, the first results do not show more than 9-10 W, the device overheats, and charging stops. Optional MagSafe cases come in a variety of options, but Apple warns that charging will ruin them, leave marks, dirt, and become unusable. A strange, ill-considered decision, especially since MagSafe turns the device into a wired solution, kills all the advantages of wireless charging. It is impossible to consider this as an advantage of the new model.

For many years Apple has not been able to solve problems with wireless charging, engineers are not able to master the technology that has existed for a long time. The purchase of third-party companies to solve this problem still prevented Apple from catching up with competitors.

Communication capabilities

The 12 Pro now has support for fifth-generation networks, which fundamentally distinguishes this device from the 11 Pro. In the absence of such networks in Russia, there is no need for a 5G module today, especially since they take from 10 to 15 thousand in the cost of the device for it. Other possibilities coincide to the point, the devices have no differences. So keep that in mind when you look at them.

Cameras. minimal differences are not for everyone

The front cameras on the models are completely identical, you should definitely not look for differences here. The main cameras are almost the same, the aperture for the main module has changed. from f / 1.8 to f / 1.6. Otherwise, these are exactly the same cameras without any hardware changes, except for the presence of LiDar, which appeared for night portrait shooting and allows you to focus. Look at the specifications of the cameras.

Most of the changes that have been made to the cameras on the iPhone 12 Pro won’t be noticeable to the vast majority of people. This is a work on the mistakes of the previous device, but not a new quality of shooting. For example, in the wide-angle camera, the distortion at the corners of the picture was changed, earlier they were very noticeable in the pictures, and this distinguished the iPhone from all competitors on the market, it refracted the corners. Now this distortion problem is calculated, the camera itself corrects the picture.

The third generation of HDR for images is somewhat different, but I could not notice any stunning differences, the images are plus or minus the same. It is quite another matter that at night these devices shoot more or less the same, the aperture of the 12 Pro is slightly higher, but it will not work to get fundamentally different pictures. However, see for yourself.

And here is a comparison of ordinary shots with different subjects.

The Portrait mode in the iPhone 11 Pro was useless in the dark, while in the 12 Pro it can be used, although you do not look for big achievements here.

It’s definitely better, but should you shoot portraits in the dark? Question. But it’s better than what it was anyway.

When recording video, you can use HDR mode with proprietary format from Dolby Vision (12 Pro only). The difference from HDR10 is that you need a TV that supports this format (there are not many of them today), and when sending such videos to other devices, you will most likely convert them. My experiments with the format showed that the HDR mode works, but you simply will not get a striking difference from the same 11 Pro. This is more marketing and an attempt to catch up with other manufacturers than something necessary in everyday life for most users (with HDR10, the situation is exactly the same on other smartphones).

The camera algorithms in the 12 Pro have changed, they are no better, no worse, just different. Somewhere one device does not fall into the white balance, somewhere else. The sound recording in the video has become a little worse, the audio zoom has flaws, perhaps the problem is in the different location of the microphone, in the fact that the mesh has been removed. Probably not worth touching what worked before with acceptable quality.

Display

In 2020-2021, Apple planned to install a new generation of screens from Samsung, add AoD, dynamic analysis of content on the screen and a few more features for little things, for example, a second RGB sensor, like on Samsung’s flagships. None of this happened, since in the 12th iPhone the company was forced to save on literally all components. Therefore, we slightly increased the screen diagonal. from 5.8 to 6.1 inches (458 and 460 ppi), left a comparable resolution and brightness (800 nits in manual mode, up to 1200 nits for HDR content).

These are screens of the same generation, which is three years away from modern matrices. This is cheaper and easier for Apple, especially since the matrices are not bad, they simply do not have all the capabilities that modern flagships (and not only modern ones) have. It is difficult to see the differences between the screens, but here the very glass of the 12 Pro intervenes, it distorts the picture a little, makes it dim a little. The screen on the 11 Pro is subjectively a little more lively, but this is visible only with a picky study up close. Nobody can appreciate this difference in life, it is so miserable.

Few facts

The main difference between the XR model and all the others in the lineup is the large selection of body colors. The Cupertino company decided to repeat the not very successful experiment of 2013. Then the iPhone 5c entered the market. In terms of its marketing characteristics, it strongly resembles the XR. also a “budget flagship”, also a large selection of body colors. However, this time the experiment failed. The youth phone did not differ much from its predecessors, and its “budget” turned out to be too expensive for the main target audience.

In 2018, Apple decides to experiment again with a youth smartphone and released the iPhone XR. Everything here is the same as last time. cheaper materials of manufacture, an inexpensive screen, a camera with one lens, many body colors. The cost is not budgetary when compared with phones from other brands (about the level of the top-end Samsung S9). The most logical comparison is between the X and XR models, rather than the older versions. The main reason is the same cost of devices. Let’s try to decide which option to choose. the flagship of 2017 (model X) or a stripped-down version of the flagship of 2018 (model X).

iPhone 11 vs iPhone X full comparison

Cameras

The iPhone X has two 12-megapixel lenses, one of which is telephoto and the other wide-angle. The aperture is f / 1.8. The TV is used for shooting portraits, thanks to it it is possible to achieve a beautiful blur of the background, that is, bokeh. The wide-angle is great for all other occasions, including panoramic shots.

iPhone XR received only one photo module with 12 megapixels and the same f / 1.8 aperture. It compensates for the absence of a second lens with software. For example, there is a “Depth” mode, which is responsible for the same bokeh. Only through artificial processing, and therefore the quality of the blur is not so natural and natural. The XR also has a Smart HDR mode that makes HDR richer and richer.

Among fans of apple products, there is still debate. which smartphone shoots better. A simple user will not notice the difference, both devices are more than good at handling landscapes and portraits. In addition, the f / 1.8 aperture allows you to take pictures in low light conditions. But still, two photomodules are objectively better than one (even with advanced software).

IPhone XR and iPhone X displays

One of the XR’s biggest failures, again due to economy. Let’s figure it out. The iPhone X has a high-quality OLED matrix with a resolution of 1125 × 2436 and 458 ppi (dots per inch). The picture on such a screen looks bright and juicy, it is pleasant to watch videos in FullHD resolution. The jubilee phone has no complaints about the display.

As for the XR model, everything is much sadder here. An IPS matrix was used, which itself is inferior in quality to its OLED counterpart. Secondly, the resolution is 828 × 1792, which does not even reach FullHD. It is worth noting that not a single smartphone manufacturer has thought of installing a matrix below FHD on its devices (middle and higher price categories). With a pixel density of 326 ppi and a screen size of 6.1 inches, we get a picture with very low detail. For 2018, these are more than modest figures. Worth knowing! The pixel density of 326 ppi was the fourth iPhone, and this is a development in 2010!

The conclusion on the display is unambiguous. iPhone X is head and shoulders above the rival.

What is the difference between the iPhone X and the iPhone XR: comparison by characteristics

Apple works according to a standard strategy. it releases a flagship, and after a while its stripped-down version. This approach is logical, from year to year it pays for itself. At the end of 2017, the world saw the iPhone X, exactly a year later, three new iPhones appeared at once, which logically complemented the tenth series. These are the XR, XS and XS Max models. The latter was positioned as a new top-end smartphone, and the iPhone XR became its budget version.

Performance

In 2018, Apple introduced a new development. the A12 Bionic chipset, which became the most powerful mobile processor in the world. In addition, this is the only processor made using 7nm technology, while previous devices use chipsets with a 10nm technical processor. Both have six cores of which two are energy efficient (save battery power), and four are responsible for performance.

A few more words about the A12 Bionic. The cores of this chipset have updated neural connections, they are self-learning. Thanks to this development, it was possible to achieve superiority over the A11 by 70%. The smartphone opens applications faster, processes photos better, unlocks the screen faster, and copes with extreme loads easier. XR beats iPhone X in all respects.

It is worth adding a little objectivity. The A10 Fusion processor in the seventh iPhone still handles the heaviest games and applications without any problems. As for the A11, so far there is no program that would be able to load it in full and force it to slow down. A12 is a promising development that will be relevant for at least three years. It turns out that the superiority of the new processor adds coolness to the owner of such a smartphone, but in fact, old models also cope with modern tasks 100%.

External difference between iPhone and smartphone

The first iPhone was introduced to the world in 2007. At that time, the device had a very revolutionary appearance and functionality that was significantly ahead of its time. This phone now allowed not only to make calls and receive SMS, but also watch movies, as well as listen to music directly from the Internet.

Naturally, this product has gained very high popularity among consumers. Other manufacturers also noticed this, so soon similar products appeared based on the operating system from Google. Android, which became the basis of smartphones that could compete with iPhones in terms of functionality. From this, it can be seen that the most obvious difference is the use of different platforms for devices.

What is the difference between an iPhone and a smartphone

Now everyone who wants to buy a “smart” phone, designed not only for receiving and making calls, but also for surfing the Internet, as well as for a number of additional functions, is faced with a problem: what is the difference between an iPhone and a smartphone? It is worth noting that this is actually an important question. The simplest answer is that both of these products are smartphones, but the iPhone is made by Apple. But there are a number of differences between the two that are worth considering in more detail.

Internal difference between iPhone and smartphone

It is important to understand that a gadget from Apple is one of the varieties of “smart” phones, so it is difficult to find significant differences between the devices. A smartphone is a communication tool that combines the functionality and appearance of a PDA and a mobile phone. iPhone is a kind of smartphone from a famous brand. At the moment, there are five generations of this gadget, as well as several options for each model. IOS is used here as a control system, it has all the functions typical for devices of this class.

The technical difference between the iPhone and the smartphone

If we consider the issue from this angle, then it is important to note the presence of a non-removable battery. This, on the one hand, becomes a cause of concern among consumers that there will be a need for frequent calls to the service center. However, in reality, this is rarely necessary, since a high quality device rarely falls prey to any technical problems. And its extra strength is provided by the use of a one-piece body.

If we talk about what else is the difference between the smartphone and the iPhone, then it is worth noting the brand name in the form of a bitten off apple on the back panel. Naturally, this is the company’s logo, so no other manufacturer will “swing” at it. The iPhone lacks a memory card slot. The manufacturer decided that the user can be satisfied with the presence of a large amount of internal memory, which reaches 64 gigabytes.

iPhone runs exclusively on iOS, devices from other manufacturers may use different operating systems.

Arguing which is best. iPhone or smartphone. it is worth saying that the first is a kind of the second. That is, gadgets from other manufacturers can provide similar functions and capabilities. The high quality of Apple products has a significant impact on their value. For some, the iPhone represents a status symbol. But everyone must decide for himself what suits him best.

Communications

In terms of connectivity, both smartphones support dual-band Wi-Fi, including the new AX standard. The devices use Bluetooth version 5.0 and NFC module.

Comparison of cameras

The iPhone 11 camera consists of two 12-megapixel modules. One of the modules is ultra-wide-angle with 2.4 aperture. The camera can shoot in night mode and has auto correction. Compared to previous models, iPhone 11 has brighter flash and smarter Smart HDR. There are also new effects in the portrait lighting mode, now there are 6 of them. Video recording can be carried out in 4K resolution with a frequency of 24, 30 or 60 frames per second. As for the front camera, it is 12 megapixels and can shoot video in 4K resolution at 24, 30 or 60 frames per second.

In addition to the 12MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and the 12MP wide-angle camera found in the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro adds another 12MP module with optical image stabilization and 2x zoom. Otherwise, the camera has the same properties as in the regular version of the smartphone. Night mode, additional effects for portraits, bright flash, Smart HDR mode, and audio zoom appeared. Video recording is carried out in 4K resolution with a maximum frequency of 60 frames per second. As for the front camera, it is 12 Megapixels and can shoot video in 4K resolution.

Screens

The iPhone 11 gets a screen from its predecessor, the iPhone XR. The diagonal is 6.1 inches. An IPS matrix with a resolution of 828 by 1792 pixels is used. The aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. The screen is protected by a scratch-resistant glass with an oleophobic coating. There is an automatic brightness adjustment mode and many other settings.

The iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1125 by 2436 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. The Super Retina XDR OLED matrix is used, which, in contrast to the IPS matrix, has an improved contrast ratio. Scratch-resistant glass with an oleophobic coating provides screen protection.

Appearance

The main differences in appearance are in the updated main camera module, which is described below in this article.

iPhone 11 has a glass body with an aluminum frame. Smartphone dimensions: length 150.9 mm, width 75.7, thickness 8.3 mm, weighs 194 g. Most of the front surface, namely 79%, is occupied by a display with a curtain familiar to Apple products, where the front camera is located, sensors and speaker. On the right side of the case there is a power button and a slot for one Nano SIM card. For China, the model is available in a version with a tray for two SIM cards. On the left side of the case there are buttons for adjusting the volume and switching the sound mode. At the bottom are the speakers, microphone and Lightning connector. No 3.5mm headphone jack.

When it comes to dust and water resistance, the iPhone 11 is IP68 rated. Thus, the smartphone can be immersed in water to a depth of 2 meters. According to the developers, nothing threatens him for 30 minutes.

iPhone 11 Pro is smaller and lighter than iPhone 11. Case length is 144 mm, width 71.4 mm, thickness 8.1 mm, weight 188 g. The case is made of glass plates connected by a metal frame. The layout of the controls on the case is the same as in the iPhone 11. On the right is the power button and the SIM card slot. On the left. buttons for adjusting the volume and switching the sound mode. Below is the speaker, microphone and Lightning connector. The screen-to-face ratio is 82.1%, which is slightly higher than the regular version. Front camera, speakers and sensors are located in the shutter at the top of the screen.

iPhone 11 Pro is IP68 water and dust resistant and can be immersed in water for half an hour to a depth of 4 m.

The back of the iPhone 11 has a square platform that houses two cameras, a flash, and a microphone. In the center of the case is the Apple logo, which has been shifted slightly lower than in previous models. As for the colors, there are black, green, purple, yellow, white and red versions of the smartphone.

The iPhone 11 Pro also received a square platform on the back in the upper left corner. But, unlike the regular version, it has 3 cameras, as well as a microphone and flash. The company logo is also located in the very center. The surface of the case has received a matte coating, which should provide the smartphone with additional protection from scratches. Sold in 4 colors, namely gray, silver, gold and dark green.

By the way, we recommend that you consider an exact copy of the iPhone 11. The model is perfect as a gift!

Lightning-USB-A.

Which to choose. iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro

Apple continues to offer customers a wide range of iPhones at 9,990, however, for the 9,990 price tag for the younger iPhone 11 Pro, you get the same great camera as the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro Max, along with an OLED display and extended battery life. In particular, the iPhone 11 reaches a maximum brightness of 625 nits, while the iPhone 11 Pro reaches 1200 nits. Both models support True Tone and Haptic Touch, but neither of them support 3D Touch, which Apple has dropped.

The IPS display is mainly what Apple was able to bring down the price of the iPhone 11 over the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, but it will be more than enough for most users who use their iPhones for social networking and gaming.

How the iPhone 11 differs from the iPhone 11 Pro

We have already compared the iPhone XR and iPhone 11, it is time now to push the heads of the representatives of the new generation of iPhone. For clarity, we have compiled a small table using official Apple data. The main differences are highlighted in red.

IPhone 11 vs iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone 11 Pro Max

If you are interested in learning more (and judging by what they say in our Telegram chat, this is how it is), now we will tell you.

IPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro performance

Both the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro (like the iPhone 11 Pro Max) are powered by Apple’s Bionic A13 chip, which the company claims is the fastest processor in a smartphone.

The A13 Bionic has four high-performance cores that are 20 percent faster and use 40 percent less power than the A12 Bionic, and two more cores that are 20 percent faster and 30 percent more efficient. The amount of RAM is still unknown, but there are assumptions.

Face ID is the main feature of the iPhone X

Face ID is a technology that has been rumored long before the announcement of new smartphones from Apple. This technology appeared only in the iPhone 10 and this is one of its main features. As we already said, the top ten does not have a Home button and, accordingly, there is no fingerprint scanner. Instead, Face ID is responsible for unlocking, which scans the user’s face and checks if it matches the pre-configured one. Thus, using Face ID, you can unlock your smartphone just by looking at it.

Face ID is realized not only with the help of the front camera, but also with the help of sensors, which are located in the influx above the screen. Due to this, the smartphone cannot be unlocked using a photograph of its owner. over, the smartphone cannot be unlocked even if it is brought to the sleeping person’s face, since the eyes must be open to unlock using Face ID.

The iPhone X has more advanced cameras

If you like to take pictures on your smartphone, then you will probably be interested in the differences between the cameras of the iPhone 8 plus and iPhone 10. The changes are small, but they are there. The rear camera of the iPhone 10 includes two cameras with different focal lengths, just like the iPhone 8 plus, but the iPhone 10 has both of these cameras equipped with optical stabilization. In addition, dozens of telephoto lenses received faster optics, it has ƒ / 2.4 aperture, versus ƒ / 2.8 for the eight plus.

The front camera has also been improved. The top ten uses a camera that Apple calls TrueDepth. It is claimed that this camera will be able to better blur the background and select shooting parameters depending on the lighting.

How the iPhone 8 differs from the iPhone X

In one of the articles, we have already examined the differences between the iPhone 8 and the previous generation iPhone. And, I must admit, there were very few really significant differences. iPhone 8 is just a well-improved version of last year’s iPhone and would be better called 7s, not 8.

In the same article, we will only talk about new smartphones. Learn how the iPhone 8 differs from the iPhone X, which is also known as the iPhone 10 or simply iPhone Ten. And here there will already be noticeably more important differences. We hope you find this helpful.

iPhone X received a new design

Looking at the iPhone 8 and iPhone 10, the first difference that catches your eye is the completely redesigned front of the device. First, the iPhone 10 has a noticeably larger screen, even when compared to the iPhone 8 plus. The screen diagonal of this novelty is 5.8 inches, versus 5.5 inches for the iPhone 8 plus. At the same time, the dimensions of the smartphone have become even smaller. Thanks to the narrow bezels, the 5.8-inch screen was squeezed into a 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm body. Whereas the dimensions of the iPhone 8 plus are 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm.

Another difference that simply cannot be overlooked is the unusual shape of the screen. It looks like standard rectangular screens are outdated and a new trend in the smartphone market will be a screen with an irregular shape. The iPhone 10 has a rounded-edge screen that closely follows the shape of the case, with a slight bead at the top of the screen to accommodate the mass of the payload. In this influx, the following devices are located: IR camera, IR emitter, light sensor, proximity sensor, microphone, speaker, 7 megapixel front camera, and point projector.

In addition, one cannot fail to notice that unlike the iPhone 8, the iPhone 10 does not have a Home button under the screen. This button is nowhere to be found anywhere, Apple decided to abandon it in favor of FaceID, which we will talk about a little later. But, the absence of this button has changed not only the appearance of the smartphone. The logic of the interface has also changed in many ways. Despite the fact that the top ten uses the same iOS 11 as the eight, many interface features are noticeably different. For example, in iPhone 10, you need to use a special gesture to return to the Home screen, another new gesture is provided to open the list of running applications.

Super Retina HD is the new iPhone X screen

The screen is another difference between the iPhone 10 and the iPhone 8. We have already said that the screen has become larger with a smaller body, but that’s not all. A dozen have screens based on a completely different technology. IPhone 10 uses OLED technology, while iPhone 8 uses regular IPS.

OLED screens have higher contrast, better blacks and generally give a more beautiful and colorful picture. In addition, the new screen received a higher pixel density, namely 458 dots per inch, versus 401 dots for the iPhone 8 plus and 326 dots for a simple iPhone 8.

These were all the main differences between the iPhone 10 and the iPhone 8, but there are a number of minor changes that we omitted because they are not so important. For example, in the top ten there was such a function as Animoji, these are animated emoji in Apple Messages. Animoji is powered by the TrueDepth camera, so this feature is only present on the iPhone 10.

iPhone X Vs iPhone 11! (Comparison) (Review)

What is the difference between a smartphone and an iPhone and which is better?

Users often ask how the iPhone differs from the smartphone? The question is really interesting, although it was posed incorrectly. after all, the iPhone is also a smartphone. It’s just that in recent years its name has become a household name, as, for example, in the case of a copier, because Xerox is the name of a company that, among other things, produces copiers.

A smartphone (from the English smartphone, that is, “smart phone”) is a mobile phone that successfully combines the functions of a computer. With it, you can not only call friends, but also play games, watch videos, listen to music, surf the Internet and much more.

iPhone is a series of smartphones produced by Apple.

And what happens? And the fact that calling the iPhone a smartphone, you can not go wrong.!

What is the Difference Between Smartphones and iPhones?

Now let’s talk about what makes the iPhone different from other smartphones.

Perhaps the first and most important thing is the iOS operating system. Our site has already managed to tell about it. This operating system is interesting in that it is used exclusively on devices from Apple, so you will not find it on smartphones or tablets from other manufacturers. This is good, on the one hand, and bad, on the other. Good, because Apple is honing its operating system to shine, so it often works much more stable than other operating systems. And the bad thing is that it is impossible to install it, for example, on an LG phone.

The second important difference is the small model range. So, for a long time Apple released only one model, which was later joined by the iPhone 5c. The same goes for the screen size, although in the sixth generation two devices came out at once. one with a screen diagonal of 4.7 inches, and the second with 5.5 inches. Now look at the huge selection of Android devices. the difference is fantastic. So if you don’t like the look of the iPhone, there’s no choice but to start looking at devices from other manufacturers.

As for the appearance, there is nothing unusual here. In previous years, Apple could shock the appearance of its devices (remember, for example, the iPhone 4 with a glass back cover), but now it is an ordinary smartphone. Of course, it differs in the presence of expensive materials, but all this invariably affects the cost of the device. But on the back there is a corporate logo. a bitten apple.

IPhones lack a memory card slot. This, one might say, is a proprietary feature of Apple. Of course, you can always choose an iPhone with a large amount of memory, but the difference in price will be several thousand , while it is true, in fairness, we note that now many manufacturers refuse slots for memory cards. Fortunately, not all.

Some users refer to the disadvantages of the non-removable battery in the iPhone. In our opinion, this should not be considered a disadvantage. Firstly, in most modern smartphones it is impossible to replace the battery (except in the service), and secondly, it works for 2-3 years, while the average replacement period for a smartphone is only one year.

iPhone 11 vs iPhone X. Should You Upgrade?

It should be noted that it supports only one SIM-card. True, the latest models have eSIM. support for a virtual SIM card.

As for everything else, including specifications, availability of applications, quality of shooting, etc., in this regard, the iPhone does not differ much from other Android devices. What’s better? It’s up to you to decide. You can go to some electronics hypermarket and compare iPhone to another smartphone you like.

Anyway, we found out that the iPhone is also a smartphone that has its own characteristics.
