Connect your device to a computer to transfer images, music, and other types of files. The easiest way is to connect using a USB cable or Bluetooth ® wireless technology.

When you connect the device to a computer using a USB cable, you are asked to install software on your computer — for example, PC Companion for Windows computers or Sony ™ Bridge for Apple ® Mac ® computers. PC Companion and Sony ™ Bridge for Mac computers help you get access to additional applications for transferring and organizing multimedia files, updating device software, synchronizing device contents, etc.

Using the Sony ™ Bridge for Mac app, you can transfer music,, and other multimedia files from your device to and from your Apple ® Mac ® computer. Also, the Sony ™ Bridge for Mac application allows you to work with files through a file browser, update the device’s software, and back up and restore the contents of the device.

To use the Sony ™ Bridge for Mac application, you must have an Apple ® Mac ® computer connected to the Internet with a MacOS operating system version 10.6 or higher.
