Setting Up Siri On Iphone 6s

Ask Siri to send a message to the iPhone, play your favorite TV show on the Apple TV, or start training on the Apple Watch. Siri will fulfill your request on your selected Apple device. You just need to ask.

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Here are some ways to communicate with Siri.

Setting Up Siri On Iphone 6s

Say hello Siri

Just say “Hi Siri,” then tell us what you need. For example, say: “Hi, Siri. What is the weather today?”

Press and release the button

On iPhone X or later, press and hold the side button for a few seconds, and then speak up.

If the device has a Home button, click it and let us know what you need.

Press and hold the button

Want to make a longer request? When making a request for an iPhone X or later, press and hold the side button. When you release the side button, Siri will stop listening.

If your device has a Home button, simply press and hold it until you’re finished making a request.

On AirPods, a headset, or in a car

When AirPods are worn, double-tap the outside of one of them, wait for a beep, and say a request. If you have AirPods (2nd generation) headphones, you can say “Hi Siri.”

When using a headset or a Bluetooth device, hold down the center button or call button until a beep sounds, then say a request.

If your vehicle supports CarPlay or Siri Eyes Free mode, hold down the voice command button on the steering wheel and then tell Siri what you need.

On apple watch

Here are some ways you can interact with Siri on your Apple Watch.

Say hello Siri

Look at the Apple Watch or tap on the screen. When the watch wakes up from sleep mode, just say “Hello Siri” and tell what you need.

Offer and say

On Apple Watch Series 3 or later with the latest watchOS, you don’t need to say “Hi Siri”. Just bring the watch to your mouth and tell what you need.

Hold the Digital Crown

Press and hold the Digital Crown for a few seconds, and then tell Siri what you want.

Want to make a longer request? Just press and hold the Digital Crown, tell you what you need, and then release the wheel.

On HomePod column

There are two ways to communicate with Siri on the HomePod.

Say hello Siri

Click on the top panel of the HomePod and say your request.

Need to make a longer request? Just click on the top panel of the HomePod, hold down and tell Siri what you need, then remove your finger.

HomePod speakers are not available in all countries and regions.

On a Mac

There are several ways to communicate with Siri on a Mac.

Say hello Siri

On a Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, click on the Touch Bar and tell us your request. In addition, when making a request, you can press and hold. When you lift your finger, Siri will stop listening.

On macOS Sierra or later, click on the menu bar or in the Dock. Alternatively, press and hold the Command (⌘) key and the spacebar until Siri answers. Then say your request.

If the Siri screen does not close automatically, click on the window or swipe right.
