Samsung A70 Is There Wireless Charging

Samsung A70 Is There Wireless Charging

Samsung’s A-Series reviews have already come out on our YouTube channel. We already had A20, A30, A40, A50 and A70 will appear very soon, but today we will get to know “the youngest” representative of this series. Samsung Galaxy A10. Preparing for the review of this smartphone, I read the phrase which essence was that for the same price, as in A10 you can choose more technically advanced models, but if the buyer sees it in a showcase with the screen on, it is unlikely to choose a competitor.

This smartphone was introduced a little later than the Galaxy A30 and A50, and therefore came to us after them. We spent enough time with the smartphone to present you concise conclusions.

KIT: no surprises

  • smartphone;
  • charging unit 1A;
  • USB-A cable to micro-USB;
  • clip for SIM card;
  • documentation.

We did not particularly expect anything from the A10 kit, but in fact, we are very used to Xiaomi that I would like a complete case as a gift, so as not to “to collect” on the glossy panel, scratches and mechanical damage in the first days of use.

DESIGN: plastic, but not “cheap”

First of all, I will say that the appearance does not give out a state employee in a smartphone at all. Slim body, all edges rounded, a drop cut. He is very similar to his more expensive colleagues. The case is plastic. The device has three color options: red, blue and black.

Location of controls:

  • volume keys and power key are on the right side;
  • on the left side is a tray for a SIM card;
  • at the bottom there is a mini-jack;
  • also there is a micro-USB charging socket and a talking microphone;
  • on the back there is one camera, flash, Samsung logo and a speaker hole.

The smartphone weighs 168 grams and feels very light.

SCREEN: almost Retina

The Galaxy A10 has an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.2 inches. HD extension (720×1520 pixels). A pixel density of 271 per inch. For such a screen. This is not a high figure. Steve Jobs once said that Retina-screen. it’s all that has a pixel density higher than 300 per inch. There is no higher than 300, so this is a Retina-like screen. Aspect ratio 19: 9.

The frames around the display are minimal, only the bottom of the chin is more massive. Navigation keys could be placed there, but the company decided to put them on the screen. Nowhere is it indicated by what glass the screen is protected, so it is better to stick the protective glass immediately.

In the screen settings you can find the following items:

  • inclusion of auto brightness;
  • the inclusion of night mode, the theme becomes dark and in addition to being stylish, it also reduces eye strain;
  • transition to gesture control, by the way, in the ONE UI shell it is well implemented;
  • “Sensitivity”. This is a menu item that should be included if you have a film or glass glued on your screen.

For the performance in the smartphone meets the 8-core processor of its own production. Exynos 7885. Two cores operate at a frequency of 1.6 GHz, and six at a frequency of 1.35 GHz. Mali-G71 GPU The device has 2 GB of RAM and given that it is Android, then, perhaps, this will not be enough, but you can put up with it. The built-in memory is 32 GB. Today this is not enough, but there is the possibility of expanding the memory to 512 GB, and this amount should be enough even for the most demanding users.

The interface does not slow down. In AnTuTu, he scored 89163 points. This is not a top indicator, it lacks power, but it is quite normal for a state employee. In PUBG, the graphics settings were set to medium, but it slowed them down significantly, you can play on the minimum settings. Asphalt 9 pulls without problems.

CAMERA: one frontal, one main

Galaxy A10 has two cameras, one of them is frontal and the other is main. The main camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels with f / 1.9 aperture, and a flash is located near it. Interestingly, someone takes pictures with a flash or everyone uses it exclusively as a flashlight. The camera can shoot at 30 frames per second in FullHD quality. There is no optical stabilization. Even if you walk on a flat road and shoot with your hands, the image will shake very much, so shooting a on the A10 is better in a static position.

The application has a minimum of camera settings. The camera menu has four tabs: panorama, pro-mode, photo and. In the settings, you can enable HDR and select a extension for the main and front cameras. The front camera has a resolution of 5 MP with aperture f / 2.0. Below are examples of photos taken on the Galaxy A10.

AUTONOMOUSNESS: long charging

The smartphone has a 3400 mAh battery. Included is a 1A charge. The smartphone does not support fast charging. it’s sad and now you will find out why.

  • In 30 minutes A10 is 17% charged;
  • In 60 minutes A10 is charged at 35%;
  • In 90 minutes A10 is charged at 52%;
  • In 120 minutes A10 is 68% charged;
  • In 150 minutes A10 is 84% charged;
  • In 179 minutes A10 is 100% charged.

So, to charge this smartphone to a 100% complete unit, you will need approximately three hours. If you put it at night, then this is normal, but if you need to urgently recharge, then, unfortunately, the smartphone will receive only a few percent. In the GeekBench test, the smartphone was discharged from 100% to 41% in three hours at full load and at full brightness. This is a good indicator.

PROTECTION: not enough fingerprint scanner

The smartphone does not have a finger recognition scanner. Is the finger recognition scanner so expensive that they decided not to put it on this smartphone? I have no answer to this question, but I clearly know what a fingerprint scanner is. it’s faster than a password, pattern, pin, and it’s definitely safer than face recognition. By the way, face unlock is here. The speed is mediocre, and in the dark it does not work correctly. As an additional option for unlocking it is suitable, as the main one is not. There is a useful feature called Smart Lock. the device will not block when it is in a certain location or next to trusted devices.

  • Wi-Fi: the smartphone supports all standards except “ac”;
  • Bluetooth: version 5.0;
  • Infrared port: no;
  • NFC: no;
  • FM radio: yes;
  • SIM card and memory card: 2 SIM cards, 1 micro-USB slot;
  • Wireless and fast charging are not supported.

Advantages of Samsung Galaxy A10

  • large 6.2-inch screen;
  • 3400 mAh battery ;.
  • memory card support up to 512 GB;
  • light body;
  • Android 9 out of the box and ONE UI shell;
  • price.

Disadvantages of Samsung Galaxy A10

  • lack of a fingerprint scanner;
  • weak charge included;
  • small amount of RAM.

If these three shortcomings are corrected, then this is a very worthy smartphone for the money. It will completely satisfy the needs of an undemanding user. It is interesting if Samsung has become so active in the budget segment, then what to expect from Xiaomi in the coming months of summer.
