Lenovo Battery Tablet 10 Battery Replacement
Let’s sit back. The Yoga Tablet 10 is equipped with a hinged stand. and, judging by the stand out set of components, Lenovo believes that this is enough for the success of the device on the market. Our review will help you understand what this tablet is like against competitors.
The most interesting feature of Yoga 10. built-in stand, allowing you to use the tablet in three “modes”. You can either completely close the stand and hold the device like a regular tablet, or open it. then the tablet can be placed on the table in one of two positions, vertical or horizontal. Battery located in the cylindrical part of the tablet, which not only allows you to increase its capacity, but also shift the center of gravity so that it becomes more convenient to hold the tablet, and it will not be able to fall from a vertical position (with the stand open).
The tablet is equipped quad MediaTek MT8125 chip operating at a frequency 1.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage memory, which is not so much compared to some competitors like Google Nexus 10. the latter offers twice as much RAM and storage memory. However, at the time of writing, Lenovo offers a version of the tablet with 32 GB storage memory total 10 more expensive. I have to agree that this is a great deal, given that most competing firms believe that for every additional 16 GB of disk space you need to take 50-100 dollars. Display resolution is 1280 by 800 pixels. Again, compared to competitors, this is not impressive, because even 7-inch tablets nowadays offer 1920 by 1200 pixels (Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7), and 10-inch ones. Either the same 1920 by 1200 (Asus Memo Pad FHD 10), or as much as 2500 by 1600 (the same Google Nexus 10). All that the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 boasts is a stand, but is that enough for a successful competition?
Design and build quality
Lenovo deviated from the usual tablet design when developing the Yoga Tablet 10. Instead of the usual “tiles” with evenly distributed weight, Lenovo decided to add cylindrical bottom with a diameter of about 21 mm. Besides the stand, into it built-in battery, which reduced the thickness of the rest of the device. The weight and size of the device is about the same as that of its main competitors.
When creating, both plastic and metal were used: a cylindrical bottom, stand and sides made of aluminum, and the back panel. from patterned polycarbonate, allowing you to properly hold the device without fear that something will slip out of your fingers. Build quality is good, but we noticed significant backlash volume rocker and power buttons. The back panel does not give in to pressure, but attempts to bend the tablet result in distortion of the image on the display and distortion of the backlight.
Built-in stand when folded, merges with the body. to open it, you need to firmly take it with one hand and turn it in the direction from the body. IN vertical mode, two silicone legs keep the tablet from sliding. such a position should fit well for fun like watching movies. True, not everyone will like the angle of 20 degrees. you can tilt the tablet even more, but then the likelihood of overturning it increases, despite the center of gravity shifted down. IN horizontal mode, the tablet lies on a table with a raised stand on top. Lenovo believes this position is ideal for typing. With the stand folded, the Yoga Tablet 10 can be used as a regular tablet. You can even translate it into portrait orientation. By the way, to each of “modes” corresponds to the setting in the Android notification panel, which allows you to instantly adjust the behavior of the tablet to the mode used.
Be careful: if put tablet on a horizontal surface with folded stand, Only one face of the tablet and a cylindrical bottom will be in contact with the surface. As a result, the tablet glides easily. Do not accidentally brush it off the table!
