In 2017, Apple released several redesigned devices, such as the iPad Pro or the iPhone X. But unfortunately, all these changes almost did not affect the released iPhone 8. The smartphone turned out to be very similar to its predecessor.
Of course, it was impossible to do without certain innovations, and in particular this concerns management. Therefore, in this article I want to talk about how to turn off or restart iPhone 8.
In my opinion, these functions are among the most important and I think it will be interesting for you to find out this kind of information so that you can be ready for any situation later.
How to enable / disable iPhone 8?
Unlike the iPhone X, which attracted the main attention of buyers this fall, the iPhone 8 turned out to be a fairly low-cost fallback option.
To be brief, the iPhone 8 is a seven with some additional goodies. The Home key is still present in the eight, so there is no need to use only gestures, as is done in X.
Turn on iPhone 8. If you had any iPhone model before, then you certainly know that turning on the device is enough to press the Power button on the right, it is also called the Lock button.
This algorithm was left the same. Therefore, to get the desired result, it is enough to do everything as before.
Turn off iPhone 8. With the release of iOS 11, you can turn off iPhone in two different ways:
Method 1 Come in Settings, then open the section The main and find the button at the very end Switch off. Then just click on it.
Method 2 If in model X the shutdown process is implemented using two buttons, then in the eight everything is implemented as before. Press the Power button and then drag the slider to the right with your fingers.
In addition, this action can be used as a reboot of the device. Most often it can be used when it just starts to slow down or lag, but has not yet completely hung.
How to force reboot iPhone 8?
Taking into account all the bugs of iOS 11, very often a situation arises when the iPhone hangs tightly.
I don’t know what came up with Apple engineers, but the reboot process in the iPhone 8 was almost completely changed. Perhaps this is due to the fact that this is how the iPhone X reboots and in future models everything will happen as well.
There is nothing complicated in this process, and in order to restart the iPhone 8 it is enough to perform a number of simple steps:
- Press and release the button Volume up
- Press and release the button Volume down
- Press and hold the button Power
As soon as you have done all these actions, the device will restart forcibly and after some time, you will observe the appearance of the apple and then the device itself turns on.
That’s all for me. With the advent of new devices such as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, we all have to get used to the new keyboard shortcuts. I think they will be used in future models.
