After Intel released the Atom Z2580 processor specially designed for smartphones with Hyper-Threading technology, Lenovo K900 became one of the first smartphones to receive this particular processor.
Plus a 5.5-inch IPS-display with FullHD-resolution, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) as a pre-installed OS, a good price. In general, the Lenovo k900 has a lot of interesting things. Here, more on that.
To begin with, we recall that Lenovo k900 has very decent technical specifications, so it copes with most mobile applications that can be downloaded from Google Play, but not all of them are compatible with this smartphone. In addition, some software products are far from perfect in terms of quality of execution, because in the process they can consume too many resources.
If the smartphone, let’s say, started to behave abnormally, a soft reset is the first thing to do. It is not worth worrying about data safety, as this operation does not provide for the deletion of information from the smartphone’s memory and previously installed applications. For a soft reset of the k900, press the power on / off button and hold it down for several seconds until the device reboot or shutdown menu appears on the screen. Next, you need to select a restart or reboot, after which Lenovo k900 will perform the corresponding action.
- First of all, you need to make sure that the smartphone’s battery is more than half charged, and only then
- you should simultaneously press the “Power” and “Volume Up” buttons for several seconds until the notification window appears on the screen, in which
- Select Reset Device.
. After completing the Hard Reset procedure, all data, including contact lists, music, photos, system settings, application settings, etc., will be deleted from the memory of the Lenovo k900 smartphone (the memory card remains intact).
To protect the smartphone and confidential data stored in its memory, many users in the settings of the Android operating system activate the password option or the screen lock Screen Lock Pattern. However, what should I do if I cannot remember the password, pin-code or pattern (pattern)?
First, no need to worry. Secondly, we can recall that Google has a password recovery algorithm specifically for such situations. And now it remains only to find the button “Forgot your password?” Or “Forgot your pattern?” And click it. Lenovo k900 will ask for the username and password of your Google account, after which the smartphone is unlocked.
If this data cannot be recalled, one more option remains. a complete reset of the device settings (see the previous paragraph) with all the consequences described above for the information stored in its memory.
After several months of active use, the performance of Lenovo k900 may decline or the user simply thinks that the smartphone has started to work more slowly. One way or another, but accumulating, files and applications over time begin to consume more and more computing resources of the k900, which cannot but affect the speed of its operation. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly delete unnecessary files and programs, as well as to clear the cache (including by soft rebooting). However, if in such a way it does not work to increase Lenovo k900 performance, then perhaps you need Hard Reset or even consultation of a service center specialist.
At the moment there are no secret codes and / or key combinations for a hard reset of Lenovo k900, therefore this procedure is best carried out in the usual way (see above).
