Xiaomi Redmi 3S
Starting to write a review, I was surprised to see that Xiaomi 3, which, in general, appeared on sale not so long ago, had already disappeared from it (at least it does not appear in the assortment of large Chinese stores). The manufacturer collected money from the sufferers and now, at the price of a triple, the same model is being traded in fact, but with a fingerprint scanner.
My wife and I already had a pair of 1S, now she just has a triple, and I got 3S for review, so I believe Xiaomi, but faith is faith, and the review is a review. If you don’t like something, I’ll write directly. In general, the 1S that came out 2 years ago completely and unconditionally suited me and I would switch to a new phone only after a complete failure of both it and the spare one. But once the case has turned up, it’s a sin to refuse.
- Housing materials: metal, glass, plastic inserts;
- Operating system: MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0
- Screen: IPS LCD, 5 inches, resolution 1280×720, pixel density per inch
The phone has been tested for originality through Antutu oficer.
Why from different? once I bought a phone on Ali, in which the “about phone” section showed one thing, and the data of third-party applications sharpened for this is radically worse. Yes, and, I remember, there was still some discrepancy in the testimony of applications. Specially made to make the phone seem more productive.
On the 22nd, the Singapore Post beat off the first track and around the number 5, the phone was in my hands. Pretty good speed.
Packaging and appearance.
The package was a standard gray package with a pimply cocoon, inside of which a box with a phone sealed in a film traveled. Unlike the first model, which was packed in thick-thick-walled cardboard, on which it was possible to glue the stamp and send it to the recipient as is without fear that the device would be broken, here the packaging, although more beautiful, is thinner.
Inside the phone itself, charger and cord. an envelope with a manual and other paper tinsel (the only useful thing is a paperclip for removing the SIM tray. By the way, charging came with a Chinese connector, so we put a European charger separately, which gives out 1A. me complete cords from Xiaomi.
The phone has a slightly larger screen, while its dimensions are entirely comparable to those of the 1S. In the transport version, the screen was covered with a matte film.
Please note that the thickness is the same, while the 3S has an extremely fat non-removable 4100mah battery for such dimensions. The capacity is quite real. If it were removable, it would be generally gorgeous. With such a capacity (within the limits of movement around the city), a spare battery really closes the need for a power bank. By the way, the phone supports high-speed charging Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 By the way, the result of the test in antitu. These parrots don’t tell me much. I’ll just say straight out my personal impression, which boils down to the fact that the flashlight smartphone works for a very long time, very much. For the most part, the marketing race comes down to increasing the number of cores and screen / camera resolution. And such an obvious factor for many as the time of work is not particularly growing. Give me a choice of a 2-core phone that will last 3 days or an 8-core phone for half a day, I will choose the first one. Yes, you can’t play tanks or mortal kombat X in it, but you can read a book, listen to music and communicate without any problems, which we all did 4 years ago (then it seems like there were just 2 nuclear ones?). It is clear that the mass of people have other criteria, maybe. directly opposite, but here I describe my point of view.
A sticker with hieroglyphic numbers was glued to the back of the phone. It left a solid trace of glue, which peeled off relatively quickly thanks to the nail polish thinner. In principle, I would leave it anyway, put it under the cover anyway, but for the review, the “native” look is preferable without third-party glue patches.
IMHO there is no reason to write obvious things like “headphone jack on top”, when any reader already understands what is shown in the photo from different angles. It is only worth noting such non-obvious things as: an infrared port on top and a silver circle of a fingerprint sensor on the back, a notification indicator at the bottom, near the buttons.
It’s all in the photo
A search for what kind of protective glass is in this model did not lead to anything, so buying a normal glass on top would be a perfectly reasonable idea.
The appearance, in short, is quite decent and comparable in size to its predecessor, which had a smaller screen and a smaller battery capacity. Personally, I don’t really care about this, because I’ll still pack it in an ugly silicone bumper like the one that saved my last phone more than once.
Another subjective plus is the presets for native headphones. I use Xiaomi dual driver hybrids, they are enough for me. In general, the sound is not worse than 1S. The sound from the speakers sound like sound. It is clear that you can’t expect bass from him, but he plays normally, without wheezing and “pan”.
Despite the fact that at the time of launching the phone I made a difficult choice between some kind of inscription in hieroglyphs and “english”, this did not deprive the phone of cultural roots. A bunch of system applications had the name settings in hieroglyphs.
Be that as it may, the transition to the current stable multilingual firmware was transferred very quickly and it still managed to be updated today, on the 9th. For those who want a choice. on w3bsit3-dns.com they are in bulk
Now I have MIUI 126.96.36.199 on board. Since I used this firmware for a long time before, I am quite satisfied with it and got used to it. I don’t see any reason to say anything about it here, since I consider sympathy-antipathy for MIUI to be a purely subjective matter. It is worth noting that on the Chinese firmware I had 773MB of 2GB of RAM free, now 1.1GB. At my level of use, I could not score it.
On a freshly installed bare firmware, without any of my applications, 8.17GB is available. If you play games, watch movies and listen to music, you can’t do without a card. And, unfortunately, if you have 2 SIM cards, you will have to make a sandwich, since there is a completely normal 11 SIM scheme and there is no separate card here. Instead, a limited choice between 2 SIM or SIM card.
I remind you that 1280×720 IPS LCD The screen is bright, the colors are juicy, there is no inversion at maximum angles. This is not Fulhd, 2k, 4.8k. so what? I have an unshakable confidence that with such a diagonal, an increase in resolution will only lead to a greater load on the percentage and a faster discharge. For the eyes (with a typical distance from them to a smartphone), after a certain threshold of pixel density, there is no longer any difference. It is clear that in the situation of using the phone as a filling for a VR helmet, this may still make sense. But such cases are infrequent and now rather hypothetically.
10 touches based on test results. I can’t even imagine a situation where it would take so much
SENSORS In general, the currently standard feature of this model is a fingerprint sensor. it works fine, offers a dozen times to swipe it with your finger to remember the fingerprint. I’m not at all eager to leave my fingerprint card on some servers there. but for the sake of review I tried with one finger. for several days it was normally unlocked without any misfires.
Rear: 13 MP, f/2.0, PDAF, Geo-tagging, touch FOCUS, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama Video 1080p@30fps Front: 5 MP, f/2.2, 1080p
At the last moment I remembered this point. Canal, it works! Simply gorgeous. I downloaded the program. it works right away, the remote control is 1 in 1 like all mine. Again, it’s hard to add to that. When everything works, everything just works. You don’t need to enable anything in settings.
GPS on the balcony catches cheerfully, but the error is somewhere around 15 meters. On the street, everything is much better. GPS instantly picked up, noticeably faster than it was in 1S Yes, which I don’t like. Unlike 1S, now, if you plug in the cord from the computer, you need to notify the phone that you only need charging, or there is a file transfer mode, or only image transfer mode. Why the hell is this necessary, it is not clear. In 1S it was much easier. stick a string and do whatever you want.
Wi-Fi catches normally, I did not notice the difference with Xiaomi 1s. No complaints here.
Oh yes, the phone should also ring, I almost forgot about it) In general, so. Catches better than 1S. In the place where my megaphone sim card didn’t catch anything, there are 2 sticks here.
It is quite normal for me to hear the companion, and vice versa. Adding something to what just works fine is difficult.
Someone focuses on synthetic tests, someone needs an opinion about live use. I’ll try to please both this and that.
I’ll start with personal impressions. I DO NOT play games and (as I did not try, did not take root) I do not support any distributed computing resources. All I need from my phone is to take/view a photo/video, read a book from it, listen to music, send/receive a message. Sometimes I use my phone as a navigator. Of all the games, I only have chess.
All these needs were perfectly covered by the power of Xiaomi Redmi 1S. Enough RAM and everything else.
Of course, I felt that applications began to open a little faster, you can keep a dozen open at the same time without any obvious slowdown, and there is still about 300-400 RAM left free.
I am sincerely convinced that the need to use the phone is artificially created by marketers to justify the annual change from quite nimble models to more nimble ones. And from this position, a 5-year-old phone could (in my opinion) make calls just as well, help communicate on social networks, open books and play music. Camera screens have gotten better, yes. But for the vast majority of everyday tasks, the power of, for example, the monitored phone is redundant.
In general, the phone is fast, does not lag. For 4 days of use, Yandex mail hung 1 time. Even on the first firmware (which is semi-Chinese), I caught a blue screen a couple of times in the dark, only without krakozyabr. I think it’s a bug with auto-brightness.
I downloaded Mortal Combat X. there are no lags, it heats up in moderation. World of tanks blitz. similar. at maximum loads of about 50 fps
Synthetic Performance Tests
For starters, I couldn’t run a full-fledged Antutu test, it constantly asks for some permissions. “some” because it is not clear what else he needs, except that he did not give the application a pin from the card. nevertheless, on 4pda there is information about the test results on the same model, this is 38048 parrots.
Antutu 3d benchmark
Antutu html5 test
3D mark Sling shot on EC3.1 was barely 1fps. However, before the test, they directly indicate that it is really resource-intensive and you should not be upset because of low results.
and here are the results of other devices
Repairing, Tearing, Replacing Parts & Assembling Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime
Purely positive. It is clear that paragraph 18 makes readers look at such assessments with extreme skepticism. But what if this is real? So far I really have no significant complaints about the phone.
What are the unimportant ones? The main thing is that there are no 2 SIMmicrosd. It would be great, but now the company can also sell models with 32GB of memory for about 20 bucks more. It would be nice if they made the battery removable, but with such a capacity, this can be forgiven. That’s probably all offhand.
Smart is smart, you can make it slow down only on really heavy games (probably because it didn’t slow me down, but I’m not aware of game novelties, maybe there is something extremely resource-intensive there). However, I am convinced that this situation will be with other phones in this price category. I think that after some performance threshold, the difference in performance for the user is calculated in imperceptible fractions of seconds.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s disassembly LCD replacement
IMHO jambs, if they do not pop up immediately after switching on, they will appear only after a significantly longer period of use. But, again, IMHO, these jambs will be in the mass of phones of another echelon (eleulephones, oppos and others like them. I’m not saying that they are bad, my position is that the probability of marriage and the optimization curve is much higher there. someone does not I’m more likely to be lucky.
That’s what this particular phone has, what I consider a big plus. a 4100 battery, which is enough for the eyes for a day of full, really full load. The screen is good, the camera and the sound are also quite satisfactory. Xiaomi has once again made an excellent mid-range Smart and it is difficult to add something to this. I hope this review has helped someone decide on a purchase.
By the way, yes, next week Fasttech will have a 10% discount on the entire range of the site, so Xiaomi Redmi 3S can be bought 15 cheaper.
If you forgot / indicated incorrectly. write, this is my first review of a smartphone, there may be flaws, although I tried very hard. I hope for your indulgence towards them.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S and connecting to IDC
As fans of this manufacturer, we are aware of the real cost of devices and decided to buy a Xiaomi Redmi 3S smartphone in Ukraine, and flash it to a number already in Pridnestrovie.
Price for Xiaomi Redmi 3 in Pridnestrovian IDC 220:
We bought it for a little more than 120 with a 12 month warranty.
Interesting Xiaomi redmi3S firmware for Android 6, but MIUI 7:
It’s a pity we couldn’t compare Xiaomi Redmi 3 on Android 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 3S Android 6, there was no time and the smartphone turned out to be with a crooked firmware, fell into the bootlap and was taken out of it via fastboot.
On Saturday, we went to register a phone number in our xiaomi in Tiraspol, on the street. Karl Marx, 149, as I understand it, this is the only service center where they test and correct new phones that were not bought from them. IDC office addresses.
First, we turned to the IDC operator, after which we were sent to the aforementioned SC:
When we first contacted the service center, we came across an inadequate employee who started muttering about the need for a China Telecom card, which we should have received along with the phone or from the dealer.
It was not possible to get a clear answer what kind of card it is, how it looks and where to buy it.
We left for another office, hoping to resolve the issue or the presence of mysterious maps on the street. Youth, 1.
Then they listened to us, took our passport, number and left for 10 minutes, then picked up the device and the same question: Where did you get it? Why not start a conversation with this. We are again sent to Karl Marx, 149 to the service center, where we have already been.
On reflection, I will assume that they need a blank RUIm card and we again turned to the service center, fortunately we got to another employee who confirmed our assumption regarding the card, showed the plastic without a card and agreed to take the device with a used Odessa Intertelecom card for diagnostics and correction, though without guarantees of anything. over, they don’t have 3S in their database, supposedly a fresh phone.
Since it was Saturday, and testing is carried out on weekdays, we did not leave our smartphone, as we had already heard about the introduction of RUIm cards for IDC in November 2016. And this means that you no longer need to test the device, just insert the card into a new smartphone.
Well, for today we postpone the issue of connecting Xiaomi Redmi 3S to the operator Interdnestrcom IDC and we will definitely write a note when IDC introduces RUIm cards.

When the quality of the pixels is determined, and among them it was possible to detect “burnt out”, you can start looking for applications that will correct the situation:
- JScreenFix is easy to use, you need to use the Fix Stuck Pixels button to get started. The developer promises 30 minutes to complete this operation, but the service center masters recommend leaving the devices. At least 10-12 hours for a more complete check;
- Pixel Fixer: Another program similar to JScreenFix. To restore the pixels, you also need to click on the green button;
- “Dead Pixel Treatment”: The platform not only tests a mobile phone for dead pixels. And then “heals” them, but at the same time reveals other defects in the display.
When using applications, it is recommended that the device not be disconnected from the chargers for the duration of the “treatment”. During pixel processing, the smartphone is constantly on, so the charge may not be enough.
Screen microcracks are fraught with a break in the power circuit. If this happens, then you will have to change the screen. Fortunately, in China they are several times cheaper.
It happens that the malfunction lies in the incorrect installation of the SIM card or flash drive. Try to take them out and see what happens.
A card with problems can be repaired by restoring broken clusters using a PC.
If shaken, a badly exposed plug from the display may fall out. What will entail disabling the image transmission module, or partial shutdown.
Remove the cover of the device, and plug the cable into the socket. If it is inserted, then take it out and insert it. In this case, do not forget to disconnect the power cable from the battery.
Xiaomi charging turns on and off
Many happy owners of Xiaomi smartphones have encountered a number of problems. One of them is the situation when Xiaomi on charging turns off and on. There can be several reasons for this state of the device, so let’s consider the most relevant ones. Which users are more likely to encounter:
Bad contact in the connector.
The most common problem with all smartphones is a broken contact in the connector. What arises due to its frequent and often inaccurate use. The contacts break, debris, dirt gets in, which becomes an obstacle to the free passage of current. In this case, the only way to fix the problem is to clean it. Or by replacing the damaged connector, depending on the situation. It is impossible to do this on your own, since at least a new connector and a maximum of professionalism are required.
Power controller failure.
It can signal either a normal state or a lack of power. Which leads to the activation of the charging mode or its absence. Outwardly, it will look like turning the screen on and off.
Also, do not exclude battery wear.
The battery can immediately consume too much current, the controller will go into emergency mode and turn off the charge. The screen will go out, because the process will stabilize, and charging will continue, which will be confirmed by the presence of a corresponding picture on the screen. Sign up for, phone charging socket repair, thousands of users have already made a phone with us!
To fix this problem, you need to check all possible elements in stages. You should start with the charger itself, as the problem may be in it. Fortunately, it’s easy to check, just connect another phone. In other cases, it is worth contacting the master, who will replace the damaged element if necessary. As a rule, a specialist provides a guarantee for all his services, which you cannot provide yourself.
Xiaomi charging turns on and off Solution
Xiaomi turns on and off while charging, what is this defect and what is it connected with? Is it possible to fix it yourself?
Recently, my Xiaomi began to turn on by itself. What is it and how to fix this defect?
The Xiaomi Redmi 3 S smartphone works fine when connected to the charger. When you turn off the memory, the screen goes blank and does not turn on? How to fix this problem?
My Xaoim phone turns itself off at 19% battery. Please tell me if this is normal or not?
Actions, how to act in such a situation
Changing graphics to low resolution will help. It is required to limit the power consumption mode. Do not continue to play with the phone charger turned on. Remove the phone from the case, allow general ventilation of the case. Turn off phone, remove battery.
If the smartphone was in a humid room, or moisture got on it. This is especially true of the USB input, and leakage into the smartphone. Oxides can lead to current leakage, and this contributes to the heating of the device. To fix, you need to clean the USB. Take a thin stick and wrap cotton wool around it. Dip it in white spirit or alcohol, and wipe the contacts at the entrance.
If water got inside, then you need to disassemble Meizu. And, carry out the same operation with contacts that are attached to the board. But, before doing this, disconnect the battery cable to avoid a short circuit.
If Meizu M8 does not have a microphone, for this you need to do the following.
Open the security settings, look for root access and click accept, reboot the device. Open the “phone” and enter this combination ##54298## or ##3646633##. Scroll to the right and find ” Hardware Testing “. audio. Audio Playback set the value of Heaset PGA to 160. Exit the menu and reboot the phone.
Also, software methods can be used. But, they can only help if there are no malfunctions in the device itself. This method is one of the simplest, we open the settings on the mobile phone. And, select the command “reset settings”. Keep in mind that this means deleting all data from the smartphone.
So that the stripes on the Meizu M8 screen do not bother you, you need to:
- Make sure the integrity and reconnect the display module cable;
- Replace the screen completely if there is real damage;
- Update firmware and Flyme shell.
In the first situation, contact could simply be broken. The connection came off due to impact, the contacts are clogged or the display was not fully connected at the factory.
In the second case, it is recommended to contact the warranty specialists or an independent workshop. The third option indicates that you bought a phone with an outdated software version. Which has flaws fixed in updates.
To carry out this procedure, you need:
- Enter the device settings;
- Select “About phone”
- In the submenu, you will need to select check for updates. when you turn on Wi-Fi, everything will start downloading;
- The device will reboot.
The appearance of stripes during use can be eliminated immediately after purchase by updating. This will not void the warranty. Unlike a complete flashing or self-repair in the same period.
A banal method is to simply log into your account on the device. Click on the item “Delete Mi account” below.
In this case, the account will be unlinked from the mobile phone. There will no longer be a message when the machine is booting up.
If Xiaomi has lost sound, you should first check the audio settings. If there is an active mode (with sound), then we continue to look for the problem.
Necessary. clean the headphone jack.
If the headset icon is on the screen of the Xiaomi smartphone, and the headphones are not connected, it means that the contacts are shorted. Therefore, the sound is transmitted to the headphones, even though they are not physically connected.
Reboot your phone after cleaning.
If during a call the interlocutor does not hear you well, then this function may be disabled. Go to the “sound and vibration” settings and move the “noise reduction” slider to the value “on”.
If it is activated, and there is crackling and noise during the conversation, then try turning off the function.
The built-in mobile assistant can also interfere with the normal operation of the microphone. Go to the settings menu. search Google. Next, turn off the voice finder feature. Restart your Xiaomi phone.
You can reset your account using Xiaomi support.
To do this, you must have documents on the phone. to confirm that it is not stolen.
How to talk to Xiaomi technical support.
Go to your mail service type and log in.
Click create message. In the first line, we write this address: mishu@Xiaomi.com Or this one: service.us@Xiaomi.com You can write in the subject (Unlock mi account). You must write in English. Use an online translator.
Next, we write what is required. I want to reset my Mi account on Xiaomi Redmi 6a. This procedure is long and may take 2-3 weeks.
Choose English and any country;
We make an Internet connection using Wi-Fi or cellular data;
After logging in, click on “Software version (Miui version)”, which you need to quickly click a few (about 5) times until a notification appears about granting “Developer rights”. We go back and go to “Second Space”, and then “Turn on second space”.
Here a second space is created and the device is already quite ready for work. Nevertheless, after the reboot, everything will be reset and you will have to do everything again, so we continue. We go into the settings, then “About Phone”, “Additional Settings” and “Developer Menu (Developer)”. Move switch USB Debugging to the enable position.
We connect to the computer using USB and start Switch. Download “Minimal Adb and Fastboot” and turn it on. We go to the first desktop, and on the computer we type “adb devices”. Here we enter the following command: adb (introductory command) shell pm uninstall (parameters).k.user 0 (values) com.Xiaomi.finddevice (server connection);
Delete “Find my phone (Find my phone)”.
Nuances after such a decoupling.
After that, the gadget is ready for full operation: you can go online, use various programs, etc.
However, it is worth noting that it will not be possible to use Xiaomi services. Which is explained by the absence of the account itself. There are a lot of complaints about the Xiaomi account from users due to poorly executed software, and it is quite logical that it is deleted.
Xiaomi Redmi 3 (BM47) battery replacement. Attempt
A few months ago, I wrote about an unsuccessful attempt to replace the battery on Xiaomi Redmi 3. The failure was that the battery capacity was far from the declared one, and the subsequent months of operation only confirmed this. Actually, after writing the previous review, I realized that the battery would have to be changed again. I did not begin to put back “native”. Firstly, I was too lazy to disassemble the phone again. Secondly, it was interesting how the “new” one would still work. There was hope, maybe it will “swing”. But hopes were not destined to come true. Not only did the battery not swing, but recently I began to notice that the charge is not enough even for a day. And after disconnecting from charging and listening to an audiobook, after about 45 minutes, the charge dropped to 57%. Once, I decided to check the capacity, it turned out to be about 700 mAh. This is instead of 4100. Who is too lazy to read the previous review, I will say that I managed to return the money for this “battery”. So, a few months ago, I put several battery options in the shopping cart. Everywhere it was written “original 100%”. Since the phone was still working, I did not buy it right away. Waiting for an interesting coupon. And then one day I found one that allowed me to reduce the cost from 7 to 2. Due to the pandemic, the battery was running for a little over a month. The kit included the battery itself, plus a standard kit for disassembling the phone, in principle, not bad, and adhesive tape for attaching the battery.
Externally, the battery is very similar to the original. In addition, it has exactly the same dimensions and weight.
The date of manufacture is also quite recent.
This time, before putting the battery in the phone, I decided to test it for capacity using LiitoKala 500. You can see how to connect such a battery in the photo.
The result disappointed me a little. The tester showed about 3100 mAh. But anyway, it was better than the previous version.
The replacement went pretty well. Even the screwdriver from the kit was not very plasticine. At least I managed to disassemble and assemble a smartphone with it. I will not describe the replacement process. Video of this action is full on the Internet.
After replacing and a few charge discharges, I measured the capacitance with a USB tester.
He showed a capacity of 3433 mAh. If I understand correctly, then 3433 mAh at a voltage of 5 V is 4086 mAh at 4.2 V. That is. the capacity is really close to the declared one. It is strange that the battery itself says 4000 mAh, but in the description of the phone and how it recognizes it. 4100 mAh.
I did not immediately install the AccuBattery program. And how much it correctly determines the capacity, I can not say. But the result is below
As a result, according to the sensations, the smartphone behaves the same as after purchase. So far I’m happy with the replacement.
Wrong password entered
To prevent trouble, you need to remember well, but it is better to write down a digital or graphic input cipher. However, how to unlock Xiaomi phone if you have already forgotten the password? Please use one of the following methods.
Incoming call. The option will work on models starting with “Mi”. To remove the blocking, you need to call the gadget from another number. When the call goes through, the device will be unlocked. You need to minimize the conversation window, go to the settings. There, find the option to remove the password in the menu, use it.
Discharging the battery. We must wait for the notification about the imminent discharge of the battery and click on the pop-up window. Xiaomi will come out of a deep “sleep”. Go to the option to remove the lock code.
Google account. If the first two options did not work, then you can return the device to normal operation through your account. If you constantly enter incorrect numbers for access, the system will offer to restore it via the Internet. Accept the offer as “I forgot the graphic key” and enter the code already from the electronic cabinet. If there is no access to the network on this SIM card, then you should replace.
Flashing. This is an extreme measure, applicable only in the case when all of the above manipulations turned out to be powerless. Before resetting the settings, you should try to transfer data from Xiaomi to another medium, as they will be deleted in the device itself.
How to unlock a Xiaomi smartphone?
Xiaomi gadgets are made in such a way that the use is as comfortable and safe as possible. Therefore, on the latest versions of MIUI devices, it is in a locked state. The move does not allow you to make significant changes to the device software or replace the system.
Another kind of protection for Xiaomi and the data stored in it is blocking when you enter a set of numbers incorrectly three times. Then the smartphone enters Recovery mode and not everyone can “pull” it out of there. Most users just don’t know how to unlock Xiaomi phone.
In fact, the appearance of a black screen, although intimidating, is easily removed. There are several different ways.
Need to unlock bootloader
Not all users of Xiaomi smartphones are 100% satisfied with firmware. Some take the risk of replacing the software. To do this is real when the “native” system is unlocked. How to do this is described below.
Leave a request on the official website of the company with a request to change the status of the downloader. You will have to wait for a response at least within 5-7 days, but sometimes the process is delayed up to two weeks. If you get rejected, don’t give up. Applications will have to be submitted until approval is received.
After satisfying the request, download the firmware you like to the phone’s memory.
Put the device into Fastboot mode by simultaneously pressing the volume up and power buttons.
Connect the device to the PC, go to Mi Flash Unlock and agree that now the manufacturer is not responsible for further manipulations in the system.
Press the “Unlock” key, wait until the device “wakes up”.
Install custom Recovery and install the firmware you like through it.
As a result of the manipulations done, the MIUI gadget will receive a completely different system software.
Any user can unlock the bootloader, especially when it comes to changing the password. If there is a need to replace the software, then you need to think carefully. The downloaded new firmware may be with a virus or be less convenient than the factory one. It is worth weighing all the pros and cons, and then act.
How to unlock Mi account on Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro?
Hello everyone. Here we will talk about how to reset Mi account on Redmi 3/3s/3 pro/3 note/3 note pro/prime and others like them. But in fact, on any Xiaomi device, using the example of my Redmi 3 pro.
Since there is so little information on the Internet, especially about the Redmi 3 pro model, that it causes some bewilderment (for example, when I started looking for where the test points are on the board for this model, there was no such information even in English and official forums, or the question remained unanswered).
So, I ran into the problem of a linked Mi account when I decided to reflash my redmik to a custom miui pro firmware, since the stock one notably lags and this caused fierce hatred, since for me there is nothing worse than a hanging phone After flashing through custom recovery TWRP. which was already in the phone, along with an unlocked bootloader, and probably rooted on Android, since it did not have a bunch of stock applications that the previous owner allegedly kindly deleted, the phone suddenly got stuck on the basic settings page, on the Mi account activation screen which I didn’t even know about. The fact is that before that, when I went to the Mi account section in the settings, the phone was simply thrown onto the desktop, and I didn’t even know about the presence of a binding and didn’t bother to find out. The phone was bought in Kiev with hands, because everything could be here. And such things should be checked immediately when buying. In my case, I didn’t really know that Xiaomi copied from Apple not only the appearance, form factors and other things for their devices, but also the security system by the same analogy (iCloud). Yes, and there was no time to understand this, I just bought a phone and that’s it.
In general, I received a phone that did not work due to the activation window, which prompted me to enter a password, from an account closed with asterisks. Miui 8 was installed on the device before and after. I suspect that the previous owner simply deleted the Mi account application from the phone using root. But the trick here is that no matter how much you flash the phone, linking to the account will not go anywhere and will haunt you all your life to fly out to the screen and prevent you from using the phone every time, no matter how much you reflash, after inserting the SIM card into the phone. Then I started looking for solutions, I decided to install another Android on my phone, but the phone unexpectedly rebooted from the recovery mode, formatted, and got into the bootloop, rebooting cyclically, and the recovery mode did not open. I had to sit over it, find a way to enter edl mode, for firmware with miflash, then this firmware itself failed, always ending with an error from the very beginning. As a result, the phone stopped even entering edl, and I gave it to the service. There he was flashed and restored by boxing. over, the phone turned out to be completely formatted, even without IMEI. And everything seems to be fine, I received a normal miui 8 global last week, but when I inserted a SIM card with Wi-Fi, I again greeted the activation window, which did not even turn off the phone.
So, let’s go straight to the way to unlock this trouble, or rather, someone else’s linked Mi account, or yours, the phone or password from which you forgot.
- We turn off the device. If you can’t do it in the usual way (as I did), turn it off with another one: open the device with a credit card, unscrew it with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the protective metal bumper, snap off the battery cable and snap it back. The second way is as follows: we hold down the three side buttons at the same time and wait until the phone reboots into diag mode, the picture with the phone connected via USB is displayed and reboot again until the Mi icon disappears on the screen.
- Install Mi PC Suite on your computer. and also XiaoMiFlash, the old MiFlash 2015.10.28 specifically worked for me. Download the firmware and unpack the archive into a folder.
- I describe a shamanic, but working way to transfer the device to edl mode for flashing (since the method through fastboot did not work for me in any way): open the device manager, the COM Ports tab, connect the switched off phone via a USB cable (preferably original) to the computer, but we insert not to the end, but half. Next, we hold down the volume buttons and snap the cable all the way into the connector. The device manager should display:
- Open as administrator MiFlash, click Browse and specify the path to the folder with the firmware. Next, click the Refresh and Flash buttons.
- After the successful completion of sewing, turn off the phone from the computer and turn it on. The first boot usually takes a long time. We set the initial settings and enjoy a clean, unlocked phone. Next, I recommend linking your new Mi account, and remember / write down the password, for example, in the OnePassword utility, so as not to forget.
- The phone is miui 7.2.7 eu stable. Now, if you wish, you can upgrade to miui 8 and log in with your Mi account, which, frankly, I don’t want to do somehow, since everything is working perfectly and stably so far.

How to find out your MIUI firmware?
Currently, the following types of firmware for Xiaomi are relevant in Russia:
- Global (global, Mi) for example, PCGMiXM;
- European (eu) such as QFAEUXM;
- Russian (ru) e.g. PEDRUXM.
The MIUI version can be found in the settings of your smartphone (in this case, global):
Instructions for updating through the “three points
In our example, the MIUI 9.2 Global Stable firmware for Redmi 3S was used.
Download the update to your computer (or directly to your smartphone if there is enough memory) and move it to your phone or memory card. In our case, the MIUI firmware zip file ended up in the root folder of the smartphone (you can download it to any folder).
Make sure your smartphone is charged before updating!
Open on Xiaomi “Settings” “About the system” at the bottom of the button “System Update”
The “Update” application will open, click on the image of three dots on the right and select the item “Select firmware file”.
If there is no such menu, click on the screen (logo) 10 times should appear.
Through the explorer, specify the file with the firmware and click “OK”, after selection, the analysis of the update file will immediately begin.
Next, the smartphone will require a reboot and continue to update the MIUI shell.
If an error window appears when choosing a firmware, then the versions of the current MIUI and the one being installed do not match, or the update file is “broken”, check that it was correctly transferred to the smartphone. Also, the update will not start if the firmware version is provided only for testers (demo version). In this case, you should wait for your update.
By itself, the process of transferring the Xiaomi smartphone bootloader to the “Unlocked” status is not difficult to implement, as it is carried out using simple and convenient software, and will require (subject to full preparation) a very small amount of time.
Official software Mi Unlock app
The procedure for unlocking the bootloader of MIUI devices, officially documented by Xiaomi, involves the use of a software tool developed by the company’s specialists and is performed according to the following algorithm.
Follow the link above to the bootloader unlock section of the Xiaomi official website, click on the “Unlock Now” button located in the center of the web page.
Next, click on the green button “Download Mi Unlock”, download the archive from
Next, the smartphone should be determined in Mi Unlock will be displayed as a line with data in the table.
If the bootloader was unlocked successfully, the message “Done” is displayed in the line with the information about the smartphone, and the “Status” changes to “Unlocked”.
Next, disconnect the phone from the PC, long press the “Power” button to bring it out of the “FASTBOOT” mode and start the mobile OS.
In some cases, after successfully unlocking the bootloader, the Mi Unlock window is simply cleared of data, while the device itself reboots automatically, resets its own settings, and after a while shows the page from which the initial configuration of MIUI begins, or the Home screen of this OS.
Another way to unlock the bootloader of Xiaomi mobile devices is not as universal and reliable as described above in the material, and is more used by owners of the manufacturer’s models with Android One on board (Mi A1, A2, A2 Lite and A3).
We fully execute the “Fastboot” instruction from the “Determining the current bootloader status” section of this article. This will prepare the unlocking toolkit. the Fastboot utility for work and provide the necessary pairing of a mobile device and a computer for the process.
Then you can configure the operating system and continue using the smartphone or immediately restart it in FASTBOOT mode, check the effectiveness of the manipulations performed (bootloader status) and proceed to the implementation of the procedures for which the unlock was started (installing custom recovery, then obtaining Superuser privileges and / or installing an unofficial firmware).
Unlock bootloader of Xiaomi devices
After unlocking the bootloader (bootloader) released by Xiaomi (under the Mi, Redmi, POCO brands) smartphone, its owner gets a lot of previously inaccessible features in terms of managing the software part of the device. Such benefits include obtaining Superuser privileges, installing custom recovery, deploying unofficial firmware, etc., and most importantly, restoring the official OS through the “FASTBOOT” mode on an Android device that has lost the ability to start normally.
Responsibility for the results and consequences of operations performed on a mobile device lies solely with its owner or person interfering with the operation of the Android OS! All recommendations from the article are performed by you at your own discretion, at your own peril and risk.!
Determining the current status of the bootloader
There are several ways to determine the bootloader lock status on a Xiaomi smartphone, and below we will consider the two most common ones. The accuracy of the results of both options is generally the same.
The easiest way to find out what status the bootloader of a Xiaomi mobile device is in is to view the values of some parameters in one of the “Settings” sections of the mobile OS. We use it first of all, since almost everything described below will have to be done in any case if a decision is made to unlock the bootloader.
- We activate the display by default of a hidden list of device settings called “For Developers” in the “Settings” of the mobile OS. How to do this is described in the material at the following link:
If the bootloader of the device has not been unlocked, under the name of the item we observe “Allow unlocking the OS bootloader”.
On the screen that opens, we see either the message “Bootloader unlocked”,
The next option for determining the status of a bootloader is more complicated than the previous one, but it is more universal and can be applied, among other things, to Xiaomi devices and sub-brands that do not run on Android OS (MIUI).
From the Android Developers site that opens after clicking on the link above
and copy the “platform-tools” folder from it
We expand the category of devices “Android Phone”, it should contain the item “Android Bootloader Interface” if so, proceed to the next step of this instruction.
When the driver situation is not as specified, the components must be installed or reinstalled manually. For this purpose, you can use the files from the package of universal drivers for Xiaomi smartphones offered at the following link:
Another option is to open PowerShell by entering a query in the search field next to the “START” button,
enter the command to go to the folder with the Fastboot utility:
It is worth noting that for the following manipulations, you can use the usual Windows Command Prompt, and not its modern shell. With this choice of tools, open the console and execute the above command to go to the “platform-tools” folder.
Preparing to unlock the bootloader
In order for the bootloader unlock procedure to go smoothly and not bring any problems to the user organizing it, several conditions must be met. Their provision can be divided into three main steps that must be completed in advance before initiating bootloader unlocking in any way and on any Xiaomi smartphone model.
Unlocking the bootloader of Xiaomi smartphones is carried out by means of an ecosystem created and supported by the manufacturer, and therefore, without authorization of the device in the latter, the procedure is almost impossible to carry out. Thus, preparing Mi, Redmi or POCO to unlock the bootloader, its owner should first of all register a Mi Account and link it (log in to the account) to the mobile device.
Not absolutely in all (depends on the device model and the version of the OS that controls it), but in most cases, the procedure for unlocking the bootloader is accompanied by a reset of the settings of the device subjected to it, as well as the destruction of all user files and other information contained in the phone’s memory.
Therefore, the second stage of preparation for the planned interference with the system software of the Xiaomi smartphone should be to back up all data of value and, preferably, study the possibility and plan for their recovery later.
The following procedure is the most important from the point of view of being able to transfer the bootloader of the Xiaomi Android device to the status of Unlocked, and without its preliminary execution, the unlock cannot be completely realized today:
We provide the ability to connect a smartphone to the mobile Internet, only through the connection provided by the cellular network it is possible to complete the procedure in question to the end and effectively, Wi-Fi in this case will not work!
Xiaomi bootloader lock reset
Unlocking the bootloader of Xiaomi devices is a reversible operation, that is, if necessary, blocking the bootloader of a smartphone or tablet back will not be difficult. This is not the only way to do this. we turn to the recommendations from the material available at the following link.

Hello, I sent a request to unlock the device, it came about 30 minutes later, I downloaded the file and launched it, logged in and connected the phone in FASTBOOT mode, but it is not detected in the program. What should I do? Help
Hello. Let’s clarify. When you connect your smartphone to the PC after authorization in MiUnlock, the inscription Not connected to the pnone continues to hang, right? In this case, the problem is most likely with the drivers. How the phone is detected in the Device Manager when it is connected in Fastboot mode?
Hello. Similarly, there are firewood. SMS about unlocking came. I launch MiUnlock. I start the fastboot mode on the phone, I connect the phone. but the program does not see it (not connected to phone). Windows sees the phone as Android sooner SDB single Inteface. You can also select Android bootloader interface drivers (if there is a checkmark to show only compatible ones). Why unlocker does not see the phone?
Hello. Try immediately after launching MiUnlock, even before authorization in the Mi account, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window. This action will open a window containing three items. What is indicated after Mi USB Driver?
Written. USB driver already installed. Current version 2.3.803.10
Strange situation And tell me, please, the model of the device.
I tried version 2.2.406.5, I can’t get past the sign in menu. Writes a network error.
From the 5th time this version started, but the error is the same. the program does not see the phone. over, vinovs when connecting the phone determines that a new device is added in the device manager.
It’s not about the version of the unlocker for sure, you need to use the latest released by Xiaomi. If all the standard methods to solve the problem have been tried (changing the USB port, another cable, rebooting with the device connected in fastboot mode), install MiFlash. The program has a function to reinstall the drivers, it is described in the review by reference. Try to apply it, then connect the phone.
Mi account sees. Firewood is standing. the unlocker reaches 50% and you give an error, it gives an error on the command line or writes the system could not find the specified path, Redmi4 pro body / Global8.0 firmware stable 8,0,5,0,0 Where to dig further?
Hello, Alexander. The MIUI 18.104.22.168.0 firmware version installed in your smartphone is a fake (fake, fake) system installed by sellers in China (you bought the phone on AliExpress, right?). Needless to say, it’s a fairly common occurrence. Still such variants of the OS are called Vietnamese. In your situation, first of all, you need to flash the official version of the OS from Xiaomi, and only then check the status of the bootloader (most likely it is already unlocked) and carry out further operations. The easiest way is to install the firmware on the Vietnamese way through three points. Our website does not yet have an article on flashing the Redmi 4 Pro model, but this method works the same on all Xiaomi models, so you can use the instructions for Redmi 3S: System Update application, Reinstall section, change the type / type of official MIUI. Any questions, write.
Hello. Thanks for the answer. The problem through three points does not solve. unable to check the file. I will visit through the cord again thanks for the answer.
Hello. There is a Redmi 4 body with a curved firmware (Vietnamese): MIUI Global 8.2 Stable 22.214.171.124.0 (CBECNDG). over, it was sold as Redmi 4 Pro, but in the information about the phone it shows the Redmi 4 model. All ordeals began with the infection of the phone with a certain trojan in the form of the Tools system application, which antiviruses began to swear at (checked with three antiviruses). Flew by the left link received via SMS. I received this link on behalf of a friend from my contact book. Further, after opening the link, similar SMS with a crooked link and a request to open this link were sent to all my contacts on my behalf! NEVER CLICK ON A CROWN LINK, EVEN FROM YOUR FRIENDS. Immediately made Recovery with a rollback to the factory version. Did not help. This Tools application remained hanging in system applications. I tried to reflash through three points, in the MIUI8 section, where updates are checked. All versions of official firmware (Global, China, Developer) give an error: Validation error. It was not possible to check the installation file I did not find other sources from where I could download the official firmware. This phone never received updates over the air. If you can’t replace the crooked version of MIUI with the official one, then you can try to get root rights and demolish this Tools, I thought. What could be easier! First checked with ADB_fastboot. Result: Device unlocked: false A week ago, through the site, I made a request and literally an hour later I received the official Mi Flash Unlocker. In the process of unlocking, Flash Unlocker reaches 99% and gives an error: Current account is not bound to this device. Add your account and device in MIUIs Settings Developer options Mi Unlock Status There is no menu for developers Mi Unlock Status Factory unlock is enabled USB debugging is enabled All drivers are installed. Through the Mi website, I went to my personal account 20 times. I filled out all the information and confirmed my phone and email. My account is active on Mi phone. Synchronization is configured through the Mi cloud. Tell me, are there any other options for dealing with this left software installed on a smartphone? Maybe this smartphone is also under Mi!? How can this be checked? A Chinese fake of a Chinese brand :))) And in general, the question arises why our smaller brothers make cheesy fake firmware?
Hello, Alexander. Let’s go in order.
Fake or not, Pro or not Pro? If you have 3 RAM and 32 ROMs in your device, as well as the flash is physically located to the left of the camera, this is the Pro version (or Prime, as you call it). At the same time, “Redmi 4” will be written in the settings for everyone, so it should not be embarrassing. Additionally, you can check the device for authenticity using a special page on the official website of Xiaomi Product Authentication.
Why do the Chinese put “flip flops” in Xiaomi? Hard to say. I can only assume that they integrate some modules, spyware maybe
The official firmware for the “Vietnamese” is not installed. You have such a situation, most likely because you are trying to install a system for Redmi 4, and you have Redmi 4 Pro.
About unlocking. Quote: “There is no Mi Unlock Status in the Developer menu” will appear after switching to the official version of MIUI. The item on the latest versions is called “Uploader Status”, you need to add an account there.
Another moment. For successful unlocking, after adding an account to the device, 72 hours must pass, you need to wait.
In general, the primary task is to install the firmware. Try to install the package from the link above, then unlock the bootloader. If it doesn’t work write.
Reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 to factory settings using Hard Reset
Regardless of the type of technology, its performance gradually deteriorates over time, so it is necessary to use techniques to solve such problems. In relation to mobile devices, the most effective option is a factory reset, also referred to as a Hard Reset. Using Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 as an example, we will find out how to delete all user data and return the system to its original state.
It should be noted that failures in the hardware can not be corrected by such measures, however, with respect to failures, high efficiency is noted. As a rule, devices from a Chinese manufacturer often need a system restore. Elimination of software errors may be of poor quality, in particular, if the device was ordered from China. Therefore, without independent adjustments, the problem is difficult to solve. You are probably aware that both budget and flagship models require software reinstallation. This implies changing the original operating system to an alternative one. However, before performing the procedure, you must perform a factory reset of the smartphone so that the new software does not have old failures.
How to disassemble Xiaomi Redmi 3S 2016030 Take apart Tutorial
As a result, it turns out that every owner of Xiaomi smartphones should be able to perform Hard Reset for unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, the user manual for the competent and correct implementation of the procedure will be considered further. over, there are several implementation methods available for different situations.
Since most current Xiaomi smartphones initially use a locked bootloader, there is no way to use recovery. Therefore, the manufacturer has implemented another simple method. You need to go to the phone settings and select the “Restore and reset” section, after which the system will automatically return to the factory state. However, with open access to the bootloader, much more options are offered, which should also be disassembled.
Reset via Recovery
Hard Reset on Redmi 3 can be performed through the recovery menu, so xiaomium.ru’s instructions for it are more detailed:
- Remove their microSD devices and SIM card for the complete safety of the data on them. It is worth noting that restoring settings involves deleting all user information: phone book, passwords, documents, and more. Therefore, during the procedure, it is recommended to leave the smallest amount of files that you do not need in the smartphone’s memory;
- Hold down the power and sound buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the manufacturer’s logo appears on the display;
- In the section that opens, select the English interface design, then confirm the actions with the power key;
- In the new window, click on the “Wipe and reset” option, which means consent to the deletion of all personal information, then click on “Wipe user data” and begin the procedure;
- Wait for the successful completion of the operation, after which the system will automatically restart.
It should also be noted that the proposed guide is valid only for users of the official software. However, not everyone uses it, since they equip smartphones with a custom version of the operating system. Under such conditions, the sections of the recovery menu may have some differences that are not significant and consist only in names. With minimal knowledge of English, you can independently understand the principle of action, while cleaning is always indicated as “Wipe”, which must be found in the section. Some software versions do not reboot on their own, so at the end of the restoration to the factory state, you need to select the “Reboot System Now” command.
Starting the device after resetting the settings is longer, however, this phenomenon occurs only when you turn it on for the first time. Further, the reboot will proceed at the usual pace, while the system errors that were present earlier will be eliminated.

Smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 3S review and firmware
I myself have been the owner of Xiaomi Redmi 3 for 8 months, and I am satisfied with everything. So they asked to order the same Smart, but decided to take an already updated version of this smart with a fingerprint scanner. Since the budget was limited, it was decided to take the version with 16gb of memory and 2gb of RAM. Smart is also no longer a novelty, and there are a lot of reviews on it, nevertheless I will try to strike a couple of lines from myself.
Screen: TFT IPS, 5″, 1280×720, capacitive, multi-touch Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core 64-bit, 1.4 GHz Graphics accelerator: Adreno 505 Operating system: Android 6.0 RAM: 2 GB ROM: 16 GB Memory card support : microSDXC Communication: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz || UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 MHz || LTE: 1, 3, 7, 20 SIM: micro-SIM nano-SIM (combo slot) Wireless interfaces: Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1 Navigation: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou Cameras: main. 13 MP (flash, autofocus), front. 5 MP Sensors: light, motion, microgyroscope Battery: 4100 mAh, non-removable Dimensions: 139.3×69.6×8.5 mm Weight: 144 grams
I got it, taking into account the points, for exactly 100 forever green money, which I think is quite profitable.
Packed by the Chinese soundly, everything arrived safe and sound.
Kindly threw the adapter under our sockets
The smartphone is in a beautiful cardboard box. Included: 2 amp charger, micro-USB cable, clip for combo tray, adapter for our sockets, well, unnecessary waste paper.
On the front we have a 5-inch screen, a front camera, touch three buttons without backlight, an LED indicator is hidden under the central one.
and, of course, a speaker. In short, the front part is no different from Xiaomi Redmi 3, but the back part has already significant changes. There is no pattern, the cover is smooth metal, except for the top and bottom inserts. On which there is a slot for the main speaker and a fingerprint scanner, a camera and the Mi logo. We will talk about the scanner separately.
Headphone jack and infrared port on top. Bottom microUSB connector and main microphone.
On the right is a volume rocker with a power button, made of metal and having a rather tight move. On the left, as in the previous model, there is a tray for SIM cards or one SIM card and a MicroSD memory card. Here, unfortunately, we are forced to choose. But I made myself a sandwich from a SIM card and a flash drive for these purposes, everything works with a bang.
Here for clarity in comparison with Xiaomi Redmi 3
Xiaomi Redmi 3s has a 5″ IPS OGS HD display with 10 touch points multi-touch and a density of 297 ppi. Which, of course, is not much by modern standards, but do not forget about its cost.
The color quality is good, and in general the picture on the screen is very close to the sRGB color field, even the white balance is in the 7800K borders, but there is a slight lack of contrast and black depth. Sometimes in a dark room, automatic adjustment is naughty. Too minimum brightness is set, so it’s better to twist this thing yourself. On w3bsit3-dns.com, many complain about the poor performance of the touchscreen, or rather its marriage. But in my case, I guess I got lucky. I haven’t noticed any problems in a week of use.
I liked the Xiaomi Redmi 3s speaker, it sounds quite loud and of high quality, I also liked the sound in the headphones, although everything can depend on the connected headphones. The maximum volume of the conversational speaker is high, in a noisy place the interlocutor can be heard well. There are no complaints about the microphone either.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s is based on a 64-bit 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, Adreno 505 is responsible for the graphics. The RAM is 2 GB LPDDR3, the main memory is 16 GB eMMC5.1.
The 3S version received a fingerprint sensor. I touched the sensor with my finger, the screen of the smartphone immediately lit up. Everything about everything takes about a second, no more. To work with the scanner, a standard MIUI application is used. Due to its placement on the back, the scanner does not require constant wiping and instantly recognizes the owner’s fingerprint. To be honest, I thought it would not work the first time. True, after a reboot, in order for the scanner to work, the first unlock must be done with a password. I got so used to the scanner during testing the smartphone. that now I constantly try to unlock my Xiaomi Redmi 3 out of habit. I will now miss it
Xiaomi Redmi 3s, unlike Xiaomi Redmi 3, is already based on Android 6.0.1. running MIUI 8. In my case, there was some kind of self-made Chinese firmware with a bunch of Chinese rubbish. So the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader and install TWRP recovery, since the standard recovery in MIUI is cut down. Yes, and I’m already used to TWRP. Although I won’t use a smartphone, I decided to do it myself.
Here is a small instruction for the firmware:
A couple of screenshots of the interface
Xiaomi Redmi 3S works in 2G, 3G, FDD-LTE (Band 1/3/7; 2100/1800/2600 MHz) and TD-LTE (38/39/40/41; 2600/1900/2300/2500 MHz). In the settings, you can set a name for each of the SIM cards, as well as for what actions it will be used by default. As in most smartphones
Xiaomi Redmi 3S supports Bluetooth v4.1 and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols, there is support for VoLTE technology
The GPS module in Xiaomi Redmi 3S works well, it connects quickly, the connection keeps stable.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s is equipped with a 5 megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. and the main one at 13 megapixels with f / 2.0 aperture. Interface and basic settings of the stock camera.
For me personally, the strongest side is a capacious 4100 mAh battery in a compact metal case weighing 144 grams. Well, it overshadows the plus that it does not support accelerated charging. My Xiaomi Redmi 3 is easily enough for me for two days of intense use with a daily diet of a couple of hours of phone calls, an hour of web surfing, listening to music through headphones and a few games.
AnTuTu Video Tester:
The smartphone will definitely appeal to fans of small devices, fits well in almost any palm. It was taken for a not particularly demanding person, who was interested in battery capacity and a normal camera. Well, the fingerprint scanner will also appeal to many, a really handy feature. Xiaomi turned out to be a pretty good smartphone. True, the frequency of updating models is a bit annoying. Having ordered one smartphone, without having time to receive it, the manufacturer releases an update.
Pros: good autonomy; optimized processor; good design; value for money fingerprint scanner.
As for me, there are no significant disadvantages, since I did not initially expect special miracles from a smartphone for that kind of money. Everyone has their own criteria in choosing a smartphone. I liked the smartphone. And everyone’s tastes are different.
