What you need to know when choosing converters:

We figured out how to connect the Playstation 4 to the monitor, it’s time to find out about further work with it.

How to connect a Playstation 4 to a monitor

The choice of the method is worth depending on the connectors available on the monitor and set-top box. You can find out about the availability and location of ports by studying the characteristics and instructions for the technique.

Most monitors are equipped with this connector. It happens that there are more than one, for example, in UM.QV0EE.001 there are 2. Sony consoles are also not deprived of HDMI.

After making sure that the required connector is available on two types of equipment, you can proceed to the connection process:

  • Take the cord echdiemay. May be included with the Playstation 4 or monitor, if not, purchase.
  • One end of the cable is connected to the desired connector on the set-top box, the other. on the monitor.
  • Enable both types of technology, while the picture should immediately appear on the screen.

Caveat: The monitor will output sound if it has built-in speakers, like the ACER Nitro VG240Y. Otherwise, you need to connect external speakers or headphones to the console.

Video Graphics Array

The connector is useful if:

  • an outdated version of the screen is used;
  • the port of echdiemay is faulty or is being used for connection with other equipment.

For this option of connecting the set-top box and the display, you will have to purchase a special HDMI to VGA adapter. Adapters do not require installation of any software.

Instructions on how to connect a Playstation 4 (for example, Playstation 4 Slim 1Tb) to a monitor via VGA:

  • Insert one side of the wire into the corresponding connector of the 210-AJXQ monitor or the other, the other into the adapter.
  • Eichdiemay-cord coming from the converter, connect to Playstation 4.
  • Enable both devices.

Tip: To avoid problems with connecting via VGA, it is recommended to: go to Playstation 4 settings → “System” → uncheck the box next to “Enable HDCP”.

A digital video interface is also found in premium segment equipment, such as the Samsung C49RG90, and in state-of-the-art monitors (ACER Nitro VG240Y). The difference is that in the first case you can use other ports, in the second there is no such variety, and you need to think about how to connect Playstation 4 to a monitor without VGA or HDMI.

Samsung Galaxy Fit unboxing and pairing

It’s simple:

  • Purchase an adapter from one slot to another.
  • Connect the HRD cord from Playstation 4 to the adapter.
  • Connect HDMI to DVI converter and monitor.

Adjusting the image on Playstation 4

All parameters are set to automatic mode by default. If there are no problems with playing the content, you can not change anything.

So how do you connect a Playstation 4 like the Pro to your monitor? All you need is an HDM cable or adapters. The picture of gaming content can be easily configured in the Playstation 4 menu. If you do everything strictly following the recommendations in the article, then there will be no difficulties with a wired connection.

Foldable smartphones literally burst into our lives at first. Then gradually, somehow, everything settled down and many market players simply dropped out. Especially those who, at the very beginning, simply released their models on the principle of “so it was”. Among such manufacturers are some Chinese “no-names”, as well as Huawei and Motorola. The first dropped out for obvious reasons related to current difficulties and simply inadequate price tag. The latter released their smartphones and they had even more problems. over, one can even say that almost no one has seen the company’s smartphones live. But everyone saw how they break. As a result, the second generation went almost unnoticed. Now we can talk about a foldable smartphone from OPPO. What is it like and why should or shouldn’t you buy it? Let’s figure it out!

How to Pair SAMSUNG Galaxy Fit with Phone – Set Up / Connect

Samsung Galaxy Fit-e review. Scope of delivery and appearance of the bracelet

A typical set for budget fitness bracelets. apart from the charger, there is nothing more interesting.

Since wireless charging is not supported, it is necessary to properly fix the bracelet in the cradle every time. This is not easy to do because of the inconvenient fastening.

The Galaxy Fit-e looks elegant, much more compact in size than the Xiaomi Mi Band. Separately, you should pay attention to the strap. it is very thin and short. If your wrist girth is more than 19 cm, most likely, the length of the strap will not be enough for you, but there is no larger one in the kit:

The Galaxy Fit-e is collapsible and consists of a capsule and a strap. If the product becomes successful, the appearance of new straps for it is only a matter of time:

Despite the large front surface, the screen itself is rather small. only 0.74 ″. Please note that the display is not touch-sensitive and does not support swipes or touches. All control takes place by lightly tapping on the bracelet. Touches are recorded by the accelerometer anywhere:

Unfortunately, this control method does not work perfectly. Sometimes you have to re-touch the bracelet 2-3 times until the sensor is triggered. Controlling swipes on the Xiaomi Mi Band touchscreen is much more convenient and faster.

The screen brightness cannot be adjusted. There is no auto brightness sensor here either. There is only the ability to dim the screen on a schedule or as needed. To do this, you must enable the corresponding option in the Galaxy Wearable app. It can be convenient at night.

Indoors, the screen’s visibility is not bad, it is much brighter than the display of the Mi Band 3. However, it is difficult to see anything in the sun. Despite the small display area, individual pixels are visible.

The picture on the screen is small and if you have poor eyesight, it will be difficult to see, say, the weather information:

Galaxy Fit-e is water resistant (5 atm) and has passed a series of tests for compliance with the US military standard. MIL-STD-810G and can withstand:

  • Sand or very dusty environment
  • High or very low temperature
  • Mechanical shock or fall
  • Pressure drops
  • and much more

Only time will tell whether the bracelet actually meets such high standards of reliability. However, even now you can see unusual elements on the body, such as a pressure relief valve. It is located on the back of the bracelet under the PGG heart rate sensor (between the two charging contacts):

Due to the water resistance according to ISO 22810, the bracelet can be used for showering or even swimming. But you cannot track any workouts in the water, as on the Honor Band 4 fitness tracker. Therefore, moisture protection is here only for convenience, it does not carry any functional load.

Samsung Galaxy Fit-e review. Budget Fitness Bracelet

The first attempt to occupy a niche of budget fitness bracelets, undertaken in 2016, by Samsung, frankly failed. While Xiaomi’s “penny” pedometers took into account sleep, notified of new messages and woke up in the morning in the correct sleep phase, Samsung Charm served only as a controversial decoration, costing 2-3 times more expensive than Chinese counterparts.

Having made the appropriate conclusions, Samsung has presented its new budget fitness bracelet Galaxy Fit-e with a monochrome OLED display, a heart rate sensor, 50 meters moisture protection and an adequate price.

Let’s take a closer look at the new product to see if Samsung will be able to squeeze the Chinese manufacturers this time.

Samsung Galaxy Fit-e main functions and features

To connect to the phone and control the bracelet, you need to install the Samsung Wearable application on your smartphone. You don’t need to install anything on Samsung smartphones at all, when you turn on the bracelet for the first time, it will automatically be detected and a corresponding notification will appear on the phone screen:

All data about your activity will be displayed in another application. Samsung Health, which must also be installed separately on your smartphone.

Heart rate measurement on Samsung Galaxy Fit-e

The implementation of this function is rather strange and here’s why. As mentioned above, the heart rate monitor measures your heart rate every minute throughout the day. It is not possible to change the measurement frequency. If you turn off continuous measurement, then manual measurement will not work.

You have only two options. either to measure the heart rate constantly, using up 2 times faster battery charge, or not to use the heart rate monitor at all.

Measurement accuracy on par with other PGG sensors. Compared to the Mi Band, the Galaxy Fit-e’s readings differ by a few beats / minute upwards. To achieve maximum accuracy, certain conditions must be met.

It’s a shame that when using the Galaxy Fit-e, the Samsung Health app doesn’t display your stress level. To measure this indicator, you need to monitor your heart rate variability. And the optical heart rate monitor does this quite well.

Many people may have a question. is it possible to somehow disable the continuous measurement of the heart rate. After all, there is no such option either on the bracelet or in the Galaxy Wearable app on a smartphone.

And to do this, it is enough to remove the Pulse widget from the bracelet screen in the above application. Somehow not intuitive at all.

If the bracelet has the Pulse widget or a watch face with a pulse display, the heart rate will be measured continuously.

Sleep accounting

Galaxy Fit-e monitors sleep using only accelerometer data. The bracelet automatically detects the time of going to bed, the time of awakening and the degree of mobility during sleep. Phases excluded. This is an artificial limitation, since the heart rate monitor is here and works pretty well.

Considering how poorly the Galaxy Watch Active is in detecting sleep phases (see the watch review for more details), this limitation cannot be considered a significant drawback. Sleep data in Samsung Health app looks like this:

In general, wearable devices from Samsung have never been distinguished by a special quality of sleep recording and analysis. Against this background, the Galaxy Fit-e does not really stand out.

Updated 1/16/2020: Samsung Health app now tracks sleep much better and displays this information more colorfully and accurately. We did not have the opportunity to retest the bracelet with the new version of the application, but the Galaxy Watch Active 2 began to display sleep very accurately.

Thanks to the built-in vibration motor, you can use a silent alarm clock. You need to set the time and schedule of alarms (no more than 10) through the Galaxy Wearable app. Of course, there is no smart alarm clock, since its principle of operation is completely based on taking into account the phases of sleep.

Autonomy Samsung Galaxy Fit-e

The manufacturer claims the battery life of the bracelet is up to 7 days. In reality, the bracelet did not last even 3 days. This is due to the continuous operation of the heart rate monitor. By disabling this function, we will additionally get a few more days of work.

Galaxy Fit-e charges from zero to 100% in 1 hour 25 minutes.

Given the modest functionality and technical characteristics of the bracelet, the need to charge the device every 3 days is very upsetting. The same Xiaomi Mi Band 3, with similar parameters, is able to work an order of magnitude longer.

Working with notifications is very poorly implemented. Only the application icon and the sender’s name are displayed on the bracelet. The same Mi Band 3 displays much more information, including the name of the application, the name of the sender, the time and even the text of the message.

During an incoming call, the Galaxy Fit-e shows the caller’s name and phone number. Naturally, it is impossible to reject a call or perform another action from the bracelet.
