First impression

It is immediately clear that the Redmi Band device is quite budget. However, the angular design feels unusual and (as it turns out) very comfortable. To be honest, it was difficult to figure out how to charge the device and get the hang of detaching the strap from the charging case.

The whole point is that the strap is very firmly connected to the case and in order to open access to the USB interface, the rubber strap of the Redmi Band fitness bracelet will have to be pulled well. To be honest, this is a design flaw, because after several such stretches, you can simply break the built-in USB. So you have to be very careful.

We say it as it is, this is not an Apple Watch smart watch or a Mi Band fitness tracker. This is the reality, what can you do. The angular design makes it slightly difficult to fit snugly on the wrist, and the strap on the arm takes some getting used to. But do not turn away from this device just because of this.

How to connect Xiaomi Redmi Band

We tried several times to connect Redmi Band to iPhone and nothing happened. Through the Mi Fit application, the device is simply not detected, through WearOS in the same way. Most likely, this fitness bracelet is simply not designed to connect with iOS devices.

But with Android, the budget fitness bracelet worked immediately. Therefore, we conclude that such a purchase will not be very successful for iPhone owners.

From the unpleasant: the Chinese interface of Redmi Band. Of course, this can be fixed (translate the bracelet into English). You can do this if you change the phone language to English on your Android.
